Christmas Gifts...Boxes-A-Plenty!!!

Earlier this year my hubby quit his Corporate America job and went out on his own.  So that means this was our first Christmas completely self-employed!   What does that have to do with stamping?  Well...it was up to me to put together a Christmas gift for his clients this year!  YAY!  We kept in simple and got them some delicious holiday chocolates.  But I wanted to make the presentation fun and festive.  So here is what the businesses he works with received...

These are the Large Kraft boxes that Stampin' Up! sells.  LOVE these boxes!  They really are quite large...about a 6" cube or so.  They were stuffed to the brim with chocolate!  So fun and the looked so festive!  I used different reds and greens Designer Series Paper for the tops (from the Color Collections Designer Series Paper stacks) of the boxes.  Then tied coordinating ribbon around the box (mostly retired), and added my tag.  Really love these tags.  Similar to the tag I put on my club members gift.

These boxes were a lot of fun to put together!  Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for visiting!!!

December Club Christmas Gift...Tags-A-Plenty!

Today I am sharing a fun set of tags that are so quick and easy to do!  Who doesn't need extra tags this time of year?!  This is a fun gift to give, also!  Which is what I did!  This was a little Christmas surprise I gave my club members.  It started out like this...

These tags are part of the YEAR-END CLEARANCE sale that is going on right now.  There are 16 tags, 8 of each design, for $0.99!  That's a fun deal!

Now...I could of just given them this gift.  They are so cute just as is. BUT...I wanted to decorate them a bit.  So this is what the package ended up looking like...

A bit more festive, huh?!  :-)  I decorated the tags a bit, added to a Large Cello Bag that had some Trim the Tree Designer Paper in it, put in the tags and some twine, and then tied it up with some ribbon (that is retired) and added a fun and festive tag!  So fun, right?!  Here is a close-up of the tag that went on the front of the package...

I love this tag!  (Have made a few different versions of it throughout this season, actually.)

Then here is what the tags in the package ended up looking like...

The tree stamp on the tags on the left is the "Festival of Trees" stamp set.  Love all the different trees that are included in this set!

And here are some of the packages waiting to be handed out...

I used an assortment of papers from the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper stack and then an assortment of ribbons (that are all retired) to "wrap" the package.  The tag is SO EASY and wonderful to use!  It is from the "Chalk Talk" framelits.  I use it ALL the time.  You just cut the tag, decorate, and then slip onto a bow on your package!  You don't have to tie it on or anything cause it has that little bread package like top.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!!!

December Club Project...Cafe Treat With Window...

Here is the club project we made this month at club (we always make a card and a 3D item.  I shared the card in my last post, so now it's time for the project!)...

So fun, right?!  These are the Petite Cafe Gift Bags that are in the Holiday Catalog.  Then we used the Starburst Framelit to cut out a window, added a window sheet, and then decorated it  up!  How much fun would it be to give these to your neighbors and friends for Christmas?!

Project Supplies (all Stampin' Up!)

Project Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Crumb Cake
Stamp Sets:  Festival of Trees, And Many More
Accessories: Starburst Framelits with Big Shot, Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack, Champagne Glimmer Paper, Tree Punch, Hexagon Punch, Dotted Ribbon Scallop Border Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (star), Pistachio Pudding Baker's Twine, Tea Lace Doily, Rhinestone, Cherry Cobbler Blendability Marker

And a few more shots...

Look at those red dots on the tree.  How did we get red Rhinestones?!  Well...we colored them using the BLENDABILITIES!  Whoooooo hoooooo!  That's my favorite thing to do with the markers...I love coloring our embellishments with them!

Christmas Countdown...

Here is a SUPER fun project to do!  I made a Christmas Countdown calendar with the Tiny Treat Boxes and the 25 Days stamp set that is in the Holiday catalog.

The boxes open like this...

I used My Digital Studio to create activities for the inside of each box.  So every day we do something as a family to keep the Christmas spirit going all month long.  We have had a lot of fun with it so far.  Here is what they look like...

Tonight our activity is to go to downtown Salt Lake City to see Temple Square...they do AMAZING Christmas lights there every year so we are excited!

Hope everyone is having a fun holiday season so far!

Many Merry Stars...

Ok...ok...I AM IN LOVE with a new kit that Stampin' Up! has in their HOLIDAY SUPPLEMENT catalog.  It's called the "Many Merry Stars" kit.  I posted on my Facebook page that I was super excited about what I was doing with mine.  Well...finally finished all the details and got it all up...sooooo...it's time to share!!!!

First, I made a garland with it...

Don't worry...I have better pics to show you.  But wanted to share the full view.  I love this garland.  It kinda brings the room together, yet doesn't get in the way of the TV.  (A must in my house! :-) )

Here are some more views...

And some bigger close-up's...

So fun, right?! The stars are made with just stuff from the kit. Then I added the extra ribbons/gold sequin ties to the garland.  (It's Crumb Cake striped ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Chevron, and Gold Sequins)

I didn't use all the stars for my garland because I wanted some for my mantle.  So I just gathered a few on my mantle as well as scattered them around...

Then here are some better pics...

Then I turned the largest star into a decor piece for my front door.  This is on the inside of my front door...so I see it whenever I walk by it.  It makes my heart happy...

Love the details...

I wish I could have everyone over to my house to see these in person!  I think they are so fun and beautiful and I'm so excited with how it turned out!  Hope you enjoy!!!  Thanks so much for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions....designwithink@gmail.com.  If you don't have this kit...you are going to want one!  :-)

Oval Accent...Chalkboard Style...

It's DECEMBER!  Where did this year go?!  Wow time really does fly by!  Since it's December...it's full force Christmas now!  I have been sharing samples made with the Oval Accent Die, and today is no different.  Here is a fun card layout to use, and it's quite quick and easy.  On to the card...

Fun, right?  Very traditional...but with a chalkboard flair.  I LOVE the chalkboard technique.  It's easy, quick, and so trendy.  Looks so cute!  I used the stamp set, "Mingle All the Way," for this card.  LOVE this stamp set...especially with the chalkboard technique.  Every image works great in chalkboard style.  And all there is to the technique is stamp it in Whisper White ink onto Basic Black cardstock.  Then sponge some Whisper White ink around, to give it the "erased chalk" look.  It's that easy!

Project Supplies (all Stampin' Up!)

Project Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Stamp Set:  Mingle All the Way
Accessories: Clear Oval Accent Bigz Die and Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder with Big Shot, Regals Background Designer Series Paper, Very Vintage Buttons, 2013-2015 In Color Sequin Assortment, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon

Here are a few more pics of the details...

This is the seam binding ribbon.  If you just pull one of the threads from the middle of the ribbon, you can just bunch it all up to get this look.  Love it!

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!  Let me know if you have any questions!!! designwithink@gmail.com
