Hexagon "Hi There"...

Here's another card idea for you, using the "A Happy Hooray" stamp set again.

For the card I just stamped the "hi there" hexagon greeting repeatedly onto a 4"x4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Then I pounced my VersaMark ink pad all over it and embossed a layer of Iridescent Ice embossing powder on it.  So that piece is SHIMMERY!  Love it!  Here are a few detailed pics...

Then I just added a 3D poofy flower (I LOVE making these!) and a few embellishments and you have a simple card.  Definitely recommend hand delivering this card because of the poofy flower.  The color combo is fun also...Perfect Plum, Chocolate Chip, Coastal Cabana, and Pistachio Pudding.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions.  designwithink@gmail.com

Some Happy Decor...

My last post I showed a card made with the "A Happy Hooray" stamp set. Want to see something else with this stamp set?!  Well let me actually show you the stamp set first...

So much fun, right?!  :)  Love the graphic sentiments and a feather and flower image...SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!  Feathers are so trendy right now too.  ANYWHO...how about I show you another idea with this stamp set?!

This is a home decor piece.  It's a 6x6 canvas.  I have three children...all girls... so we always need some fun and girly decor around our house.  Here's what I made...

I should of gotten a side view, but it's about 1" thick...so it can easily stand on its own.  I LOVE the feathers in this stamp set.  So fun!  I wanted the feathers to shine here.  So I just stamped them in VersaMark ink on the three different colored card stocks (Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo) and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder so they SHIMMER SHIMMER in real life!

I wanted some subtle texture behind the main focal point. So I just embossed a paper doily with some clear embossing powder to make it shine but not take away focus from the main image.  I also splattered some Pink Pirouette ink all over to give a little more texture.

So what do you think?!  Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

A Happy Hooray...It's FRIDAY!

I LOVE Friday's.  The beginning of the weekend...yay!  I also love the stamp set, "A Happy Hooray".  It's so versatile and fun to use!  I have had some fun with this set lately so you will be seeing a few ideas from me with this set.  :-) Today I am sharing a card I made with the stamp set.

I used a color combo that I have been wanting to use for awhile.  Wasn't sure how it would all work together, but wanted to try.  It's Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, Calypso Coral, and Coastal Cabana.  Have to admit...love the colors together!  :) Try this combo out and tell me what you think!

I used the feathers in the background for this card, and I love that look.  It adds so much fun detail.  And love using the flower image as more of a focal point.  And the splatter image is from the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set.  (This is probably my most used stamp set EVER!  It may not be the  most glamorous stamp set in the catalog, but it definitely gets a LOT of love from me!)

Love that "Hooray" greeting, the pearls, the banners, etc.  But HATE that I knocked that last pearl before the picture.  Have already gone to fix it, so just ignore that part.  :)

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com.

Chalkboard Love...

When I did the Display Board Samples for Stampin' Up!'s Convention...I met some great people!  The card I am sharing you today is one that I totally copied from one of these girls that I met, Allison Okamitsu.  I loved her card, and other than the addition of a few candy dots...this is one of the cards she made for the Display Boards...

Isn't it a fun card?  One of the reasons I love it because it's a great layout.  You could easily do this a million different ways with a million different colors and themes.

Here are a few close-up's...

It's a quick card to make also.  And don't you just LOVE that Chalkboard look.  (This is easily done...all I did was stamp onto Basic Black cardstock in Whisper White ink.  Then sponge Whisper White ink around the card as chalk smudges.)

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks for visiting!

September Club Card...

I already shared the project we made at club this month HERE.  Today I am going to show you the card we made.  Again, we are continuing on with the Halloween theme...

I went with the chalkboard look with this card, with some fun Halloween images.  The greeting is from the "Mingle All the Way" stamp set.  And the fun Jack-O-Lantern and ghost are from the "Fall Fest" stamp set.  Both of these sets are in the Holiday Catalog.

Here are some more detailed pics...

The ghost is cut out from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  LOVE the sparkle it adds.  (Hard to photograph...sorry!)

I hope you enjoy this card!  Let me know if you have any questions!  Feel free to order any supplies on my website... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net.  Thanks for visiting!

September Club Project...

Just wanted to share one of the club projects we made tonight!  We are getting started a bit early on Halloween.  Never too early to be a little prepared!  I love Halloween and I love banners, so thought I would give my club girls a fun piece of Halloween decor!  So this is what we did...

I'm kinda loving this!  Here are a few close-up's...

Kinda fun and festive, huh?!  I LOVE the alphabet we used on this banner.  It's called "Larger Than Life" and it's SO MUCH FUN!  And the Pennants were made with the Party Pennants Bigz Die and the Big Shot.

A few more pics of the details...

Let me know if you have any questions or need to order any of the supplies to make this project!  (Or any other projects you need to make.  :-) ) designwithink@gmail.com

Fall Fun...

Well I have to admit...I am NOT looking forward to the seasons changing.  I LOVE summer weather and don't want it to go.  I guess I need to move to a place where it's warm all the time. :-) Cause I HATE winter.  :)  But...that having been said...I wanted to make a swap card for the Stampin' Up! event I went to on Saturday.  I posted about the event HERE.  And decided to embrace fall and went with a fall card.  I used NEW product from the new Holiday Catalog!  Whooo hoooo!

Here is the card...

I love this fun stamp set.  It's called "For All Things".  I love the layered look you can EASILY get with this stamp set.  (The Crumb Cake watercolor blob like image is just stamped.)

Colors on this card:  Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry

Here are some pics of the details...

And just sayin'...but there was a card contest at the event and this card won!  Whoooo!  So fun!  :)

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

Unite and Excite Fun!

Man, I am lucky!  I got to go to a great event today.  Stampin' Up! is sponsoring some smaller demonstrator events around the country these next few weekends.  They are hosted by local demonstrators.  My good friend, Heather Stevens, was hosting the one in Utah.  And she always puts on great events!  (She was my partner in crime for the big Convention party we threw this summer.)  There was no way I was missing it!  And of course...it did not disappoint!  What a fun event!  Just thought I would share some pics from this fabulous event...

Starting with the decorations...

How cute is this table?!?!?  Here are some close-up's...

Then here how the tables we were sitting at were decorated...

And look what we were welcomed with!  This gift at each place setting...

HOW CUTE!  We were definitely spoiled.  We had a great time!  I was one of the presenters, and all of us that presented had to get a group shot of us with our thank-you gift!  (I am the 2nd from the right.)

Thanks, Heather, for such an amazing day!  (Heather is the one in the picture above on the far left.)  She's one talented lady!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!

Seasonally Scattered is NOW AVAILABLE...

GUESS WHAT??!?  Remember all those cute projects I showed you using the "Seasonally Scattered" stamp set??!!??  Well...that stamp set is NOW AVAILABLE to order!  Yay!  If you haven't seen the Holiday catalog...well just click on the catalog below to see it!

And OF COURSE I have another sample to show you...once again using the "Seasonally Scattered" stamp set...

Ok...I AM SO not in the mood for Christmas!  I do NOT want summer to leave AT ALL!  I kinda hate the Winter season.  But...I do love this card.  :)  I think it's fun and festive and has SO much texture and layering...what isn't there to love?!  Here are some views of the details...

You just have to love those gold sequins.  Love the texture they add!  And next to the Burlap Ribbon...YUM!

I embossed this Doily again...I smooshed my Crumb Cake ink pad all over it, and then embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder so it SHIMMERS!  LOVE doing this!

I know I already mentioned I love the gold sequins...but just have to say again that I love them.  I love having strands of them on my card, but I also love putting them on individually.  Here's a tip...fold them in half before adhering.  Just gives some added dimension, which is always fun!  :)

I hope you enjoy this card!  It really is very "Merry"...don't you think?!  FYI...I just stamped and embossed the "Merry" image and then colored in the letters with the White Gel Pen.

Thanks so much for visting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com
