I love the bright colors and glam on this card.  The little gold scallop is so cute too! 

And those black stripes...how cute are they?!  Are you looking for the Designer Series Paper that I used?!  Well...you can stop looking!  Because I just drew them onto Whisper White with my Basic Blacks Blends Marker.  It was super easy and I LOVE how it looks!

And if you have followed me at all, you know I love a good embossed greeting. 😀 So I love this one on Coastal Cabana cardstock. 

And OF COURSE ... I love a good watercolored flower!  And this magnolia has me all  😍😍😍 !

A few weeks ago, I made up a bunch of homemade salsa, and took it around to some people that I wanted to spread a little cheer and love to.   I think everyone needs it right now so it is probably time for another round of salsa making.  😀

I LOVE this Modern Heart Stamp Set.  I just embossed the hearts in gold, and then watercolored away.  They were a lot of fun to make.

Blackberry Bliss & Crushed Curry Meet For the Love of Felt!

Can you believe that it is Day 26 of the #30daycardmakingchallenge?!  What?! Already?!  Crazy!  Hee.  But yes...there are just a few more days left!  Have you been playing along?  Today is NOT one of my favorites.  😀  (Thank, Martin! 😉)   It is a color challenge, but it is not colors I really gravitate towards normally.  But I guess that what makes this fun, right?!  The opportunity to challenge yourself and step outside of your box!  😀  On to the challenge:

And here is the challenge:

Fun tip...if you are trying to use specific colors, but quite aren't sure how to use them or don't completely love them...pair them with neutrals!  For this card I obviously used a whole lot of Whisper White!  And I think it makes the colors just totally pop!

Also...these flowers are all stamped with Blackberry Bliss.  I just stamped it three times, without re-inking the stamp.  That way you get a variety of color, within the same color!

I also LOVE the Shimmery Embossing Paste.  That is what I used to make the polka dot background...

And love the texture that these ribbons add...I love a card with texture!

Flourishing Friendship...

Well here we are!  Day 25 of #30daycardmakingchallenge!  This one is all about friendship, specifically "You Have a Friend In Me!"  So I made this card from my BFF...and she LOVES purple!  So purple it is!!!

I LOVE this stamp set!  So much!  It is called Flourishing Phrases and it is RETIRING!  😱  This card was really easy to make.  I just embossed it in white onto Highland Heather cardstock.  Then did some sponging and splatter in the same color ink to make it pop.

Then just distress some edges, and add your greeting and a couple accessories...

I love how it all came together!

This card is pretty simple, but does have some fun details.  I love these embossed gold palm trees:

And I ALWAYS love a watercolor wash!  Extra bonus points when it has a splatter.  Haha.

I also think the greeting really pops on this card.  Which is good because the is the message I want him to receive from this card!

I love this subtle little touch.  I embossed a layer with the Subtle Embossing Folder (If you don't have this, you NEED it!  I use it ALL the time. ) and then added some flowers I cut with the In the Tropics Dies.
