Event Special Touches...

A little while ago, a few demonstrator friends and I got together to put on an event for our local downlines.  (The other demonstrators that signed up under us.)  It was a lot of fun!  I just wanted to show a few of the special touches we added to hopefully convey to them how special they are to us!  I didn't get the best photos...but hopefully you can get the idea of it!

Here are some pinwheels I made for the candy dishes we had on each of the crafting tables!  Who doesn't need a little sugar when they are stamping?!

These were done with the wonderful Sale-A-Bration paper.  I also used the buttons from the buttons and ribbon pack.  (We held this event while Sale-A-Bration was going on...so it was a fun way to add to our own celebration!  :) )

These are the name tags I made for everyone...

These were fun water bottles we had on our snack table that Kasia (one of the demos I did this event with) created...

These are just a few special touches we added that you could use for any event/party you plan!  Hope you enjoy!  Thanks for visiting!

March Club Project...

Want to see the cute project we made at club this month?!  Well here you go!...

It's a fun Post-It note holder made with the Scallop Envelop Bigz Die!  Too much fun...right?!  And we added a magnet to the back so you could add to fridge or file cabinet...or something like that.

Here are some other close-up's...

Again we used lots of Sale-A-Bration products so hope you have them to recreate this!  :)  If you don't...use whatever else you have and still go make one!  They are fun and easy!

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks for visiting me!

March Club Card...

Dumb pregnancy brain!  (Can't remember if I have mentioned it on here or not...but yes...I am pregnant.  Due in July with our third child....third GIRL to be exact!  AHHHH!  :-)  We are very excited!)  I keep forgetting to do the posts I have planned.  Sorry!  I will catch up.  :-) Here is the club card we made this month...

I have to admit...I wasn't sure how much love I had for this card in the beginning.  But looking at it more..I really ended up loving it!  I used lots of Sale-A-Bration goodies on it so hope you got them!  :-)  Since Sale-A-Bration is sadly over.  But I love the colors and layout and just overall cheeriness of this card!  Here are a few close-ups...

LOVE that lace tape that is in the Mini.  And the Melon Mambo ribbon.  YUM!!!!

Hope you enjoy this card!  And if you are still visiting this blog....THANK YOU!!!  :-)  I will be posting regularly this week so stay tuned for more fun projects!

A Little More Love...

Just want to share one more quick decor piece.  This was SO easy to do.  I printed this file someone had posted online (I REALLY need to find the link to that again...sorry I can't give credit to where I found it yet!) and just framed it and added a few ribbon rolled flowers.  Use MDS to make a frameable piece also!  Here is the frame...

Isn't it fun?!  Here are a few more close-up's...

I LOVE making these rolled ribbon flowers!  They are easy and quick and fun!  Then I used the large Rhinestones to add some bling to the middle.  And LOVE that two-toned thick gray ribbon in the Mini Catalog that I used to make a little ruffle on the bottom.  (I also used the pink ribbon to make the smallest flower.)

Thanks for visiting!  I hope you enjoy!

Love Is Always In The Air...

I know Valentine's is over...so this is a little late.  :)  But can't we ALWAYS decorate with a LOVE theme?!  :)  So hopefully you still like this idea and it inspires you in some way.  This is a piece of Home Decor I made for my mantle for Valentine's Day.  It may or may not still be sitting on my mantle.  :)  Here it is...

Fun...right?!  It really is a simple project. A bit time consuming making the flowers, but not hard at all.  All I did was punch out 5 scallops..the smaller 1 1/4" scallop circle.  Then stacked them on top of each other, poked a hole in the middle and set a brad, spritzed the top layer with some shimmer spray (rubbing alcohol mixed with Shimmer Paint), scrunched up that layer, spritzed the next layer, scrunched that up, and continued on until the flower was all pretty and scrunched.  Then just let dry and repeat for however many flowers you need.  Then I just arranged them into a heart, and hot glued them onto the frame.  I added some Designer Paper to the inside of the frame, made the Love banner, and there you go!  A fun piece of decor to add to your mantle!

Here is another pic so hopefully you can see the flowers better....
I kinda liked the flowers all different looks of "scrunchy" to give it a little more interest.  They really add a lot of pop.

Hope you enjoy!  You could make all sorts of these for all sort of holidays...an egg shaped for Eater, clover for St. Patty's Day, Christmas tree for Christmas, etc, etc.

Thanks so much for visiting!!!

February Club Project...

Time to share the project we made at club this month!  It is a fun one!  I have seen lots of ideas online about using the FREE (with a $50 order) card kit in the Sale-A-Bration catalog for more than just making the cute cards.  I really liked this chocolate holder that I saw in my search!  So this is what we made for club...
How fun is this?!  It holds a regular sized Hershey's Chocolate Bar.  I am sure you could also fit a pack of Skittles or something like that in there if you know someone who is allergic to or doesn't like chocolate.  (Thank heavens I don't fall into either of those categories!  :-) )  Here are a few more photos...
So try this kit out...think outside the box...and see what you can come up with!!!  There were VERY few supplies I used that weren't already included in the kit.  I think just the ribbon on top to hold it together and the strips of Whisper White cardstock to make the sides of the box.

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!

February Club Card...

Hey there!!!  So I have a few fun decor projects I made for Valentine's Day that I was going to show today.  However...I can't find the camera that I took those pictures with!  Ugh!  Hate when I can't find things!  So will have to show those even later after the holiday!  :)

HOWEVER...I do have a fun card to show you today!  It's based on a layout from the Spring Catalog.  (See if you can find it...it has hearts on it instead of butterflies.)  On to the card...

I hope you like it!  It's a quick and fun card to make.  I think the card has a big impact with the pops of the butterflies punched out from the fabulous Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper.  Too much fun!!!

Here are a few more pics...

Love that "Thanks" sentiment from the "Vintage Verses" Sale-A-Bration stamp set!  So much fun!  And the background is embossed with the Sale-A-Bration embossing folder.  Then sanded down to get the lighter color to show on the Core'dinations Pool Party Cardstock.  So much fun to use!

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!!

January Club Card...

I am a bit late in posting the card we made in LAST MONTH'S club!!!  (Especially considering that tomorrow is my February club night!)  But better late than never, right?!  :-)  This card was a fun card to make.  But before I chat about it...how about you see it?!  Here is the card...

What a fun combination of a whole lot of products...right?!  My inspiration for this card came from one done by a very talented demo, Kimberly Van Diepen.  It was fun to add a bunch of fun new products (can you even count how many new products are used?!)  Talk about seeing the Occasions Mini put to good use!!!  I used new Designer Series Paper, Accessories (Doilies, ribbon, brads), Stamp Sets, Framelits, Embossing Folder, Core'dinations cardstock, etc!  I even used a couple Sale-A-Bration products!  (Get one FREE with every $50.00 in merchandise ordered!!!!)  I used the small Curly Label punch, Vintage Verses Stamp Set, and Pool Party ribbon.  Too much fun!!!

Here are a few close-up's...

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
