BUT WHAT YOU REALLY CAME HERE FOR! Cute projects!!! πππ If you just came from Angela's blog...doesn't your day just feel better after seeing the cuteness she made?! π I am totally in love with what she did! And if you are just starting this hop...WELCOME! I am SOOOOO excited to share with you what I made! You are going to see some holiday inspired projects & more! on this hop. I used the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle (item # 152390)--which includes the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set & Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies--for my projects today. I just wanted to use it in a bit different way. SOOOOOOO...I switched things up and made a home decor piece and a little coordinating card:
Colors: Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold
Inks: Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold Glimmer Paper, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Tiny Keepsakes
Tools: Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Die, Subtle Embossing Folder, Aqua Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Linen Thread, Snowflake Sequins, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Whisper White Baker's Twine
Want to know a bit how I made these and how I used the bundle?! π
First...on both of the projects...I embossed a background onto the paper (Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper...item # 149612) . I just stamped an image repeatedly on the paper (the snowflake on the hanging pennant and "Holly Jolly" on the card) & then embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder (item #109132). Then I added the Watercolor Wash. ***Note...the pennant piece is a full sheet of the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I just cut one end into a pennant shape and made the top part with Whisper White Baker's Twine and a small wooden dowel.
Next...I cut some pieces of Granny Apple Green cardstock. Then I just stamped some of the pieces with the Buffalo Check and some with the Diagonal Stripe background stamps. I LOVED how this all turned out! Then just use a Bone Folder to "curl" the cardstock a bit...in both directions... to really break down the fibers of the cardstock. Then roll it up and glue it together with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Then I just cut a strip of cardstock, and glued all the cardstock "rolls" to it to form the tree. I used the square tag & the star tag from the Dies in the bundle to finish it off!
So cute, right?! I love this little tree. And I love this hanging pennant...
I love this coordinating card too! I didn't use as many "rolls" on this card so the tree is a little more squatty. I love this tree also...
So what do you think?! I hope you love it! Please let me know if you have any questions!!!!
And don't forget!!!! There are SO. MANY. MORE fun projects to see on this hop! So make sure you keep hopping!!! AurΓ©lie is next! She has some major fabulous-ness to share with you!!
