Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team has so much fun to share today with another Blog Hop! We did one early in the month too that you can still go back and check out! (I will link to that at the bottom of this post...so stay tuned! :-) ) Now it is time to get ready for some NEW & FESTIVE fun!!! If you just came from Angela's Blog...you've already seen some gorgeous projects!!! I am so excited to share what I created with you now!!!
I obviously brought in some new colors to use with this suite of products for these projects. (I used traditional colors in the fist Blog Hop we did, so wanted to do something a little different for this one. 😀) I also brought in another greeting stamp set, the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set, to make some projects that would be gorgeous to give all year long!
Want to see and hear a little more details about these projects?! Well let's get going! First up, is a fun card that would totally brighten anyone's day! I LOVE this color combo!!!
Colors: Purple Posy, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Gold
Inks: Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Golden Glitz Delicata Gold, VersaMark, Purple Posy Dark Blends Marker
Cardstock/Papers: Purple Posy, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Christmas Rose, Strong & Beautiful
Tools: Subtle Embossing Folder, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, Aqua Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Linen Thread, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder
For this card, I just embossed the FABULOUS large floral image in the corner of a 4" x 4" piece of cardstock. Then did some watercoloring! I colored with Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, and then I used the Purple Posy Dark Blends Marker to color the little berries.
Then I splattered the whole cardstock piece with the Golden Glitz Delicata Ink. 😍 (The easiest way to do this is to use an Aqua Painter. I just put a little of the re-inker on a clear block, pick some up with an Aqua Painter, then flick the brush tip on the lid to splatter on my project. Squeeze a little more water into the brush tip if it's not splattering like you like.)
I LOVE this greeting!!!!
Next up is a more traditional Christmas card.
Colors: Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Basic Black, Mossy Meadow, Gold
Inks: Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Golden Glitz Delicata, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Basic Black, Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Christmas Rose
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Roses Dies, Aqua Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon, White Stampin' Emboss Powder
I LOVE this rose stamp! It's so detailed! Look how gorgeous those are! I just stamped a few roses in the corners, added some greenery and a sentiment! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that shimmery gold ribbon!!!
It is a stunner for sure!!!! I also used one of the dies from the suite to add a Vellum label under the greeting. And then that FABULOUS lattice die just makes me SOOOOO happy! It is also from the die set!!!
I did some more watercoloring for this next card...this time with a watercolor wash...
Colors: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold
Inks: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Golden Glitz Delicata, VersaMark, Flirty Flamingo LIGHT Blends Marker
Cardstock/Papers: Petal Pink, Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Christmas Rose
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Roses Dies, Subtle Embossing Folder, Aqua Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Whisper White Baker's Twine
I embossed the big flower twice on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Then I used Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo to do a watercolor wash over it. I pretty much am in love with how it came out. 😍 Look at that vibrant pink. I am swooning...
Then all I really added was just an embossed greeting (I just cut part of one of the greetings from the suite) to add as a little banner and added a die cut and ribbon for a little flair.
And YES! I colored some White Baker's Twine with a Blends Marker to have some colored twine. I used the Light Flirty Flamingo one.
Last...I have a fun box for you!!! Boxes are such a fun way to share some stamping love with people! Who would even care what was in the box when it looks this gorgeous! Hee.
Colors: Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Purple Posy, Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold
Inks: Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Golden Glitz Delicata, Purple Posy Light Blends Marker
Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Christmas Rose, Strong & Beautiful
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Roses Dies, Aqua Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, White Stampin' Emboss Powder
And all I did for this was use that big dynamic floral image, watercolored it, added it to a cardstock rectangle that I sponged with the a stencil I made (Click HERE to see the last blog hop where I showed you how I did this!) and added it to the box I made from Thick Whisper White cardstock.
I. Love. Watercoloring. Hee.
