Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop: February 2019: Dear Doily!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!!!  If you are just starting this FABULOUS Blog Hop...you should be very excited!  We have some amazing projects to share with you!  If you have been hopping along with us...I am sure you have already figured that out.  😀  If you are coming from Angela's blog, aren't you just totally in love with her stunning projects?!

I used the Dear Doily Stamp Set (#148690) and the Doily Builder Thinlit Dies (#148553) for my projects.  I loved this bundle the first time I saw it.  The dies are so much fun to work with and the stamps are so versatile.

I LOVE the simplicity of this Miss You card...

Colors: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist
Ink Pads: Whisper White, Markers: Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Dear Doily, Well Said
Tools: Big Shot, Doily Builder Thinlit Dies,Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Heat Tool
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

The Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#148530) is GORGEOUS!  And then mixed with that fun flower, I'm just in love.  This flower was really fun to stamp also. Creating the fun watercolor look for the flower is really easy also.  First, I inked the stamp with markers.  I used Melon Mambo for the flower and Lemon Lime Twist for the stem.  Then I just spritzed the stamp with water and stamped it onto Watercolor Paper (#122959).  The colors then bleed a little and give you that fun watercolor look!

This next card I also did some watercoloring...

Colors: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana
Ink Pads: VersaMark, Melon Mambo, StazOn Jet Black, Lemon Lime Twist Re-inker
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Dear Doily, Well Said
Tools: Big Shot, Doily Builder Thinlit Dies,Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Whisper White Baker's Twine
I LOVE how that background turned out.  When creating this look, I first embossed the doily stamp onto the Watercolor paper.  Then I just colored over the images using an Aqua Painter and Lemon Lime Twist ink.  I then dabbed it with a paper towel to remove some of the excess ink.  Then I added a second coat of color around the doilies, making that area a little darker.

That fun little pop of the Melon Mambo flower just makes my heart happy...

I LOVE this last tag...

Colors: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana
Ink Pads: Whisper White, Coastal Cabana
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana
Stamps: Dear Doily, Well Said
Tools: Big Shot, Doily Builder Thinlit Dies, Well Written Framelit Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Basic Black 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine
The fun doily die shape that I used here is fantastic.  There are two pieces to it.  There is the outside piece that will cut out the whole doily if that is what you need.  Or you can just use the inside piece to cut it out like I did with the tag on this project.  😍😍😍

Isn't that so much fun?!  Then I also used the Well Written Framelit Dies (#148534) and the Well Said Stamp Set (#148796) to add the greeting to this tag...

I hope you enjoy these projects!  Thank you so much for visiting and for hopping along with us!  Next us is the talented Aurélie Fabre!!! I can't wait for you to see what she made for you this month!!!

I love the watercoloring! So pretty. I don't often use Basic Black and it's such a pretty pop of color with your other combos. I love how you used it as an accent color. What a fun hop and beautiful projects.
