Bold Background With Ocean Friends for TGIF Challenge #517!

Apparently can't stop with the Friends of the Ocean Suite Collection from Stampin' Up!  Today I have a cheery card today to remind you it is FRIDAY! ♡ And time for a NEW TGIF Challenge!  Of course ... as always ... it is another FUN one!  Want to make some bold backgrounds?!  Well then let's get started!

Colors:  Melon Mambo,  Basic White, Gold, Variety from DSP

Inks: VersaMark, Coastal Cabana

Cardstock/Papers: Melon Mambo, Basic White, Basic Black, Friends of the Ocean DSP

Stamps: Ocean Friends

Tools:  Ocean Friends Dies, Soft Waves Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Water Painter

Accessories: Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Iridescent Faceted Gems, Basics WOW! Embossing Powder, Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder  

I went with a bit of a subtle bold background.  I used white cardstock, die cut a punch of ocean wave strips, and then just gold embossed the ends. It makes it pop and just look how pretty the gold is ... 

I kept the rest of the card pretty simple ... but fun!  I cut out a bunch of the ocean creatures from the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper and added them to my greeting. 

You could do so much with this challenge ...
