Fancy Friday Is Here With Manly May!

I loved this Manly May challenge for the Fancy Friday Challenge this month.  Because it is a challenge for me!  But my go-to for guy cards is usually bold & graphic.  And texture, texture, texture.  😊. That was easy to do with the NEW Pattern Party Designer Series Paper & Tailor Made Tags!  Last post, I shared the more "girly" side of the Pattern Party paper.  Today...look at these bold black & white patterns!

Colors: Gray Granite, Whisper White, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay

Inks: StazOn Jet Black, Gray Granite

Cardstock/Papers: Gray Granite, Bermuda Bay, Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil

Stamps: Art Gallery

Tools: Tailor Made Tags Dies, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, bone Folder

Accessories: Linen Thread, Matte Black Dots

Can you see all the texture I added?!  Layers of the DSP, then embossed the panel, rolled the corners, sponged, etc.  Some simple embellishments (and "Manly" ones, at that) top it off!  

I love the stitched detail on the tag and the fact that the tag dies come with the accent piece.  Easily cut a fun gold accent using the gold foil paper!

And love to roll corners, when the card calls for it.  Simply break fibers of the cardstock by "curling" the corner with a bone folder.  Then separate the edges.  Easy, breezy and so much texture.  😍
