Oval Accent Die--Teapot Style!

Ok...so GUESS WHAT?!  Remember YESTERDAY'S POST?! I told you I had some samples to show you using the "Oval Accent Die" from a presentation I had done?!  Well...guess what?!?!  This Oval Accent Die is on SALE THIS WEEK!  It's part of the Weekly Deals!!!  You may as well just get it now...because you will for sure want it after I show you everything you can do with it.  ;-)

Here are all the Weekly Deals...

So fun!  (Head to my store... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net to purchase any of them!)  I had no idea that would be a Weekly Deal...so kinda excited!  :)  And can I just say...great deal on those Cut & Read Early Espresso card bases!  Just fold, stamp/embellish, and you are done!  :-)

Tonight I have another project to show you using this die. I saw this idea on Pinterest and I had to make one!  Love it!  It's a card idea tonight...

Fun, right?!  Love this teapot!  Would be so cute as a little "get well" card!  The tag pops out...

And you can fit a packet of tea in there.  LOVE!  Just one more idea for this die!

Hope you enjoy!  I will be sharing more fun things with this die this week so stay tuned!  Thanks so much for visiting!

So clever! Is the tea pot 2 layers to keep the tag hidden? HAVE to figure this one out!

To make this card- I just cut the cardstock to about 5" by 11", and fold in half. Then you line up the cardstock on the die, but place the folded edge just above one of the notches of one of the scallop ends. Does that make sense?! So you don't want to cut the whole oval shape out.. just cut like the shape that you can see on the card. Then run it through Big Shot, cut off ONE of the top scallop parts at the notch...making it straight so you have a spot to slide the tag. Then turn that into the spout! Make a handle with the large and extra large oval punch. Adhere them to the card, and then adhere the sides of the card closed. Does that make any sense at all?! :)
