Fabulous Colors With Heart To Heart!

It's Day 6 of the #30dayChristmasCardChallenge!  And I LOVE this challenge!  Because it is a FABULOUS color challenge!!!!

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Magenta Madness, Basic Black, Granny Apple Green
Inks:  Magenta Madness Granny Apple Green, Memento Black
Cardstock/Papers:  Shimmery Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Heart to Heart, Tag Buffet
Tools: Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Tasteful Labels Dies
Accessories:  Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder,Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon

Isn't this FUN for a Christmas card?!  (I am EMBRACING the non-traditional colors because I realized I really don't like decorating and making projects with traditional colors and THAT IS OK!  😀  Totally love when other people love it and do it!  But for me...I am a non-traditional gal, and that's ok!  Hee.)

It is tough to photograph black, for the record.  But the black layer is embossed with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  I LOVE the texture that adds...

And I just love these little flowers.  I have to admit...I cheated a bit.  I actually used Magenta Madness instead of Melon Mambo...because I just LOVE LOVE LOVE that color and can't stop using it.  😀  But...same idea.  So I think it is ok.  Hee.  Also...I embossed that Merry Christmas greeting with Clear Embossing Powder, after I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, and I just love how that makes it pop even more.

I hope you enjoy this card and come play along!

Snow Globe Goes Home...Day 5:

It is Day 5 of the #30dayChristmasCardMakingChallenge!  Are you following along?  Participating?  Want to give Martin a SHOUT OUT for putting this together?  🙌 Yeah...me too!!!  It is so much fun, and totally is giving me the motivation I need to get crafting!  (And if I can get motivation for a WINTER challenge...anyone can!  😊  Hee.  I hate winter.  Haha.)  This Day 5 challenge was a bit tough for me.  And have to be honest...this card took far longer to make than I care to admit.  Haha.  And I don't really love it.  But...you win some, and lose some, right?!  😏   It still has some fun details to it, and I like the colors a whole lot:

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Purple Posy, Coastal Cabana, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, Whisper White, Gold
Inks:  Purple Posy, Coastal Cabana, Magenta Madness, Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers:  Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Shimmery Whisper White, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Gold Foil Sheet, 2019-2021 In Color Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Still Scenes, Tree Angle
Tools: Snow Globe Scenes Dies, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Banners Pick a Punch, Heat Tool, Water Painters
Accessories:  Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, White Stampin Emboss Powder, Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack (gold thread), Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes, White Stampin Emboss Powder

So first detail I want to point out is the "snow".  I watercolored it with Whisper White Craft Ink.  Then, when it was wet, added some White Stampin' Emboss Powder to it.  I kinda love the look:

Another thing I want to point out is the embossed Window Sheet.  I embossed the globe part onto the Window Sheet, cut it out with the Snow Globe Scenes Dies, then adhered it over the house globe part.  I know it is hard to tell in the photo, but I LOVE the glassy look it adds over the house scene.

And of course I never hate a good watercolor wash background...

I hope you enjoy this card!  And come play along!

Card Sketch With Peaceful Boughs...

Day 4 of the #30dayChristmasCardChallenge!  Are you playing along?!  Are you having fun yet?!  I know I am!  Today we have a card sketch for you!  First up...check out my card:

And then this is the sketch I used to get this card:

This Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set is from last year's Holiday collection.  And I am SO GLAD it is back, because it is cute!  I embossed and watercolored the boughs onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  Then snipped them and added some vellum layers by using the coordinating Beautiful Boughs Dies.  😍  And then can we discuss just HOW MUCH I LOVE the Peace & Joy Stamp Set and the Joy Dies?!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!  (Love that punch of Magenta Maddness too!!! Swoon!!)

I hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help with anything!  I am here!  Thank you for visiting!

Candy Cane Stripes for Candy Cane Christmas...

Day 3 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge!  I actually really like this challenge and did my own spin on it.  Candy Canes are striped and usually red & white (I know there are also lots of other fun colors too!)...so that is where I went with my card.  Pink and white stripes for the win!  😊

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold
Inks:  Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Memento Jet Black, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, Magenta Madness, Gold Foil Sheets
Stamps: Peace & Joy
Tools: Joy Dies, Water Painters
AccessoriesGold Stampin' Emboss Powder, 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots

This looks like a Candy Cane Christmas card, right?!  It just may be my Christmas card this year.  I kinda love it.  😁  Let me show you some of the details closer.  The stripe was just made with Magenta Madness cardstock, layered onto Whisper White cardstock.  I love the strip of Gold Foil too...kinda makes it all pop.

I used the Gold Foil so it would coordinate with the fun embossed greeting.  I LOVE LOVE the stamp bundle used on this card, Peace & Joy Bundle...

I embossed the word and then cut out using the coordinating dies.  Swoon, right?!  😁  Love the Magenta Madness berries also.

I hope you enjoy!  This was a fun challenge and I would love to see what you do with it!!!

A Little Stocking Paper Piecing...

Day 2 in the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge.  (I seriously still can't believe I am typing the word Christmas.  Haha.)  This one is a fun one...it is a technique challenge...Paper Piecing!  You could do this in quite a few ways.  For my card today, I stamped it a couple of times, once being on Designer Series Paper.  And then cut out just a piece of it and added it to the larger one..."piecing" it together:

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Basic Black
Inks:  Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Memento Jet Black
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, Vellum, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Brights Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Tag Buffet, Peace & Joy
Tools: Greenery Embossing Folder, Forever Flourishing Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Water Painters
AccessoriesClear Stampin' Emboss Powder, Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Gold Hoops Embellishments

I also used the FABULOUS Gold Hoops Embellishments.  Because they are so much fun!!!  I just love how it makes this cute wreath on this card...

And look how cute that Paper Piercing is.  I watercolored the top, toe, & heel.  But that Designer Paper stocking just makes it!  Swoon! 😍

I hope you enjoy & I hope you participate too! 😀  I want to see what you make!

I'm Here For You...With Winter Winds:

Well, it is time for another 30 day card making challenge with my friend, Martin!!!!  What?!  Yay!  Remember last time that we did this?  It is so much fun!  Downside...it is a Christmas one!  I am NOT ready for winter!  Not even a little bit.  I am a SUMMER girl...through and through.  So what does this mean?  Well...I am still playing along for sure!  But...they are not going to always be traditional Christmas stuff.  😁  I hope you follow along and participate, because it is going to be FUN!

Today's challenge is Day ONE and it starts with a Winter Winds challenge!   A little bit gag for me...hee...but...I love this card!  So there's that!

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Inks:  Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers:  Crumb Cake, Shimmery White, Misty Moonlight
Stamps: Here's A Card
Tools: Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder, Pine Tree Punch, Water Painters, Sponges
AccessoriesWhite Stampin' Emboss Powder, Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (twine), Self-Adhesive Snowflakes, White Stampin' Emboss Powder

I love the blended background (just used ink and sponges!  Then splattered some water on it and blotted it off) and pop of white trees.

I chose this sentiment...

...because I know I need extra support in the winter.  😉  I am sure there are other summer people too that need some "Winter Winds" support as well!  So now I have a card for the occasion.  😀  (And that embossed background...with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder!...is just so perfect with it!)

I don't love snow, but for the record...I LOVE LOVE LOVE these Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes!   They are FANTASTIC and GORGEOUS!  😍😍😍

I hope you enjoy and play along with this fun challenge! Can't wait to see what you do!

Simply Citrus Love...

I am SORRY it has been so long since you have heard from me.  I have been in the middle of (and actually still in the middle of) a craft room makeover.  And things have taken a little longer than expected, as they do.  BUT...I can't wait to show you the final product!  It is looking AMAZING!!!!

But for today...I am going to talk about my FAVORITE new kit!!!  I just LOVE the Simply Citrus Card Kit!  Have you seen it?!  The kit cards are SOOOOO cute and then you have a DARLING stamp set at the end of it!  That is the stamp set that I used to make this fun treat box:

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Whisper White
Inks:  Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers:  Basic Black, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Simply Citrus
Tools: Heat Tool, Water Painters, Delightful Tag Topper Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch
AccessoriesWhite Stampin' Emboss Powder, Simply Citrus Card Kit (flowers), Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack (Coastal Cabana Ribbon), 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" Acetate Card Box

Watercolor, splatter, embossing...does it get much better?! 😊  Maybe...when you add this ribbon...

💕 LOVE LOVE LOVE!! 💕 I believe it is quite possible I will be going through many spools of this ribbon.  Hee.  But....YUM!!  Luckily the other ribbons in this combo pack are just as yummy!  😃

Also...a fun little tip.  Take some Designer Series Paper, cut into narrow strips, and pleat onto a project.  I LOVE the texture this gives...

I hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!  Those cute little vellum looking flowers come from the kit also.  I had some leftover.  I need these in bulk too because they are SOOOOO cute!!!!

Isn't that just bright & happy?!  I needed something bright today!  Look how cute this sketch is:

Here are just a few details on this card:

I first embossed the confetti onto watercolor paper.  Then I did a fun watercolor wash over it.

Add some Stitched Stars cut out from Vellum and then add the greeting.  The greeting was embossed onto Basic Black cardstock, and then just cut out!

All in all...I think it came out fun and celebratory!
