I have to admit.  I LOVE these pillow boxes.  They are so much fun to use!  And those polka dots...total swoon worthy!  😍😍😍

And this stamp set, "Picture Perfect Birthday," is such a fave of mine.  I have used it a ton!

And speaking of using a ton...this label from the "Stitched Labels" framelits I haven't stopped using.  😂

TGIF Challenge 169: Just Breathe...

Well this week is a fun challenge!!!  It's a "Heat" of the summer challenge!  First of all, here is what I made:

It's summery AND it's part of the challenge!  Double whammy!  😁 And here is the official challenge:

How fun is this challenge?!  Heat Embossing is definitely one of my fave things to do.  And you can do so much with this!  For my project...I just embossed the sentiment.  It honestly is one of my fave things to do with heat embossing...because I LOVE a white greeting!  It looks great on black, but I also love it on color--like I did on this project:

This saying makes my heart smile.  I need to remember this a lot of my days...so I thought it would be fun to make a little notebook with this sentiment.  SOOOOO...you open it up and here you are:

I think this is such a fun way to just have a little "clear my mind" journal when it's needed.  (Does anyone else LOVE putting pen to paper to work out emotions?!  One of my fave things to do!)  

And YES!  This notebook holder is just one of the empty Clear-Mount stamp cases that you can buy! Love these!!!

Where do you get your inspiration for your paper crafting projects?!  The card I am sharing today--I found a similar one on a Pinterest board and just had to make one like it.  So first up, here is my card:

The flowers were fun to just stamp and then watercolor with a blender pens and ink.  I wanted the messy look, but you could be much cleaner if you wanted.  😀

The "Follow Your Dream" bundle is truly one of my favorites.  It has fun dies and stamps that are so fun to use!!!  And, of course, my fave part about this project is the cute picture of my cute girls.  😍  However...this little focal point sure is adorable...

The photo hanging is 5"x7", and it's just covered chipboard.  We covered it with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (ON SALE THIS MONTH!!!) that I had just cut into 2" strips.

I love this sale!  😍  Such a fun time to snag some amazing papers!  And man!  There are some beauties!  One of my favorite is the "Twinkle Twinkle" pack.  It's baby themed, but not really.  The patterns are such fun colors that can be use for so many occasions.

Lovely Lipstick Envelope Box...

What is your favorite stamp set?!  One of my very favorite stamp sets may be surprising.  It is the "Wood Words" stamp set.  It has a little of everything...fun greetings, images that can be used for any occasion, background, focal point stamps, etc.  So I seem to grab for this stamp set a lot and just LOVE it!  The project I'm sharing today--I used the stamps for a quick, fun & simple box...

Colors: Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party

Cardstock/Papers:  Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Pool Party, Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper

Stamps: Wood Words

Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Envelope Punch Board

Accessories: Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Pearlized Doilies

This box was actually made with the Envelope Punch Board.  It is a simple box to make...just a few additional score lines from making an envelope and you have this box!

So fun, huh?!  The belly band just slides off so the recipient can open it up easily!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this floral image!  I have used it as a background a lot, but here it became the focal point!

Lovely Impressions Butterfly Home Decor...

Who is ready to see another project made with one of this years NEW In Colors?!  How about a fun Home Decor piece?!  Well hope you're ready to see, because I'm ready to share 😀 ...

This project came together quite quick, but I think this butterfly really packs a punch.  I cut out a few layers and just adhered them together in the center...

If you curl the wings slightly with a bone folder (be careful so you don't rip them!)...it gives such a fun dimension!  Always fun to see what you can do with paper!!

TGIF Challenge 167: All About Color!!!

I have to admit, I LOVE a good Color Challenge.  I am all about color, so it's fun to try new combos that you maybe wouldn't normally put together.  This weeks' TGIF Challenge is a fun and summery color combo that I know you will love!!!  First, here is the card I made for the challenge:

Cardstock/Papers:  Lemon Lime Twist, Shimmery White, Vellum Cardstock, Watercolor Paper, Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper

Stamps: Follow Your Dreams

Tools: Big Shot, Chase Your Dreams Framelits, Starburst Punch, Aqua Painter

Accessories: Iridescent Sequin Assortment

HOW MUCH FUN ARE THESE COLORS??!?!?!?!?   (I did add the Night of Navy spritz splatter, FYI.)

You can't fully see in the photo, but the "dream" is cut from Shimmery White cardstock.  So it shimmers in real life!  😍

What do you think about the watercoloring?  To get this colorful wash, I spritzed the Watercolor Paper with water first then just dropped a drop of Pineapple Punch ink from the reinker bottle right onto the paper.  Smear that around with an Aqua Painter, then repeat with the Grapefruit Grove color.  So much fun and gets you a pretty vibrant color...

This is a fun new stamp set called, "Dandelion Wishes".  I LOVE this stamp set!  Just a few simple stamps, a fun punched greeting, some punched vellum accents, & a few accessories are all this card needs! 

And can we talk about the new "Subtle" Embossing Folder for a second?!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the subtle texture this adds...

All in all...I think this card could for sure brighten someone's day.  I need to get some of these in the mail!
