Penned Flowers Masked With Plenty of Patterns...

Have you played with Stampin' Up!'s Decorative Masks?!  They are SO MUCH fun & can be used in lots of ways!  Today...I used them simply as a stencil with some ink to make a subtle but bold background.  Confused how it can be subtle AND bold?!  Well...let me show you the card:

ColorsPetal Pink, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Whisper White
Inks: Petal Pink, Memento Jet Black
Cardstock/Papers: Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, Soft Sea Foam
Stamps: Hand-Penned Petals
Tools: Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks, Penned Flowers Dies, Blending Brushes
Accessories: Fine Art Ribbon, Linen Thread, Flirty Flamingo 1/4" Metallic Ribbon

See what I mean now?!  I feel like this is a bold background with the fun bold floral image.  But...I just did a tone on tone image to give a subtle feel.  Hence...my subtle yet bold background.  Hee.

I just paired this background with some die-cuts from the Penned Flowers Dies and VOILA!  Fun card to give anyone that needs to be told "thanks!" (or anything else...change to greeting to anything!)

Also fun to note...that fun "fringe" under the sentiment.  Just cut one side off a piece of the Fine Art Ribbon piece.  Then pull out fibers to make it all fringe-y.  😊

Need to also point out how much I love the little detail the ribbon behind the Linen Thread bow...

I hope you enjoy this subtly-bold card!  What occasion would you use it for?!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  I would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs!
