Glassine Folder...
I took some time out of that this weekend to take a few minutes to stamp because I needed it! :) Anyway...I saw this idea at the Regional Stampin' Up! event I went to in January. I have been meaning to try one since I got back, and I finally remembered to do it...
Of course the color combo Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Kraft, and Old Olive. Can't get enough of it! :) Can you tell that the flower is all shiny?! Because it is! :) I put a layer of Crystal Effects on it to make it shiny and have a bit more punch. Here is a close up of that...

To explain the project a bit...the Kraft cardstock is a little folder of sorts. The Melon Mambo part is a belly band that comes off the folder to open it up. When you take off the belly band and open it up...it had two little pouches to hold whatever you want. Gift cards, notes, etc.
It was hard to get a picture of, sorry! Basically what I did was fold one of the Glassine Bags (they are in the mini!) in half. Then made a Kraft cardstock folder to fit around it. Cut the bottom of the bag off so there are two pouches. Then for the inside I made two cards to fit...
Now...I have been obsessed with this felt stuff lately. Loving these felt pieces! SO CUTE!!! And what I was thinking of using this for is gluing a gift card on to one of the cards and then my note on the other. Or you could make it a coupon book. Or I bet it would even hold some chocolate! :) Basically....whenever you need a few pouches to hold something....this would work! :)Thursday, February 11, 2010
Chipboard Scallop Cards...
I just smooshed my Whisper White Craft pad around the chipboard again, and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. LOVE IT! Then I used the Vintage Vogue stamp set for this one. Here is a close up...
I embossed that flower as well. The color combo is Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, and Crushed Curry. Can I just say that I DID NOT like Crushed Curry when I first saw it. Now I have to admit...it's the perfect yellow and I love it. :)
I used the Vintage Vogue stamp set again. And then I used Real Red craft ink on the Chipboard first. And of course....embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Can't get enough. :) Then I used Kraft cardstock for the card. The flower/viney stamp is stamped in Chocolate Chip. The flower is Real Red. Then Crushed Curry again for the banner sentiment. Club Day for February!!
I have to say....I'm in love with this first project. This idea came in to my head when I saw how big the new Chipboard books in the mini catalog were. I finally sat around to play with this idea. There are EIGHT pages in each of the books....a FABULOUS deal!!!!! So sure....I have made some chipboard books...but why not even do more fun things with them?!?! I made a single page into a jumbo card/tag item! TOO much fun! I think it would look GREAT tied on to the front of a gift bag or on a present. And you can make EIGHT from one pack!!! On to the project...
HOW CUTE IS THIS?! It is SO SPARKLY in real life. Love it! I just smooshed Whisper White Craft ink all over the flower, then embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Then I used my Big Shot to cut out the circle card. Then decorated using some FUN things in the mini! I LOVE how this turned out. (I made a few others that I will share with you tomorrow or the day after.) Here is a close-up...
My color combo is Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, and a splash of Old Olive. LOVE these colors together! In the middle I put one of the fun Circle brads from the main catalog. I tried to get a good pic of all the sparkle. Here is what I got...
And then this is how it opens up...
I love that big tag/card. Hope you do too! :) I know my club gals have so far! (We still have some coming tonight.)
I love this. It is a Jr. Legal Pad cut in half. Then just make a fun folder for it and you have a notebook for the go! :) I LOVE making lists and such...and I love all sorts of notebooks. So this is perfect for me. :) AND...they are really fun to make. Here is a view from the side...
How cute. :) And then the inside...
We put some of the same Designer Series Paper on the top of the notebook so that it all coordinates! :) The Designer Series Paper comes from the Sweet Pea pack...FYI. I am loving this projecttoo...if I do say so myself :) Monday, February 8, 2010

Sweet Treat Cups...

Heartfelt Thanks...
How precious! :) I used two stamp sets today..."With All My Heart" from the Mini catalog and the Sweet Heart one that coordinates with the Heart shaped Sweet Treat Cups. All I did was stamp first stamp the small flower image in the "With All My Heart" stamp set on the Kraft. Then stamp flower stem on the Whisper White. Stamped that big flower image on Pale Plum in Rich Razzleberry ink. Punch out with the Extra Large Fancy Flower punch. Sponge edges with Rich Razzleberry ink. Punch hole in middle and put in a Jumbo Brad (5/8" Whisper White) in middle. Adhere on flower stem with dimensionals. Sponge edges of Whisper White with Rich Razzleberry ink. Stamp your greeting in the corner, mat onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Adhere a bit of Old Olive Striped Ribbon on left corner. Adhere that whole piece to Kraft card. Easy Peasy!!!Here is a close-up. Oh yeah...I did curl the flower petals up a bit with my Bone Folder to give it a bit of dimension....It's A Card Set & Box Remake! This time ... Delicate Pines! ♡
