Sunrise Sailing Online Exclusive With Fancy Friday Design Team!

July was all about the Online Exclusives for us on the Fancy Friday Design Team!  Hope you followed along on Instagram! 💕 So much gorgeous inspiration!  Today I am sharing what I made ... I chose the ☆FABULOUS Sunrise Sailing Bundle for this challenge!

All supplies are from ©️ Stampin' Up!

Colors Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Strawberry Splash, Peach Pie, Pecan Pie, Gray Granite, Basic White
Inks: Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Strawberry Splash, Peach Pie, Pecan Pie, VersaMark, White Craft
Cardstock/Papers: Pool Party, Gray Granite, Basic White, Subtles Designer Series Paper Pack (RETIRED), Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Adhesive Sheets
Stamps: Sunrise Sailing, My Small Business
Tools:  Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder (this includes the dies), Perennial Postage Dies, Water Painters, Heat Tool
Accessories: Basics WOW! Embossing Powder, Baker's Twine Essentials Pack,  Iridescent Faceted Gems

This is a pretty fun challenge cause I love the Online Exclusive section of the Stampin' Up! website.  Hee.  The challenge part of it is knowing what to pick!  Haha.

I had a lot of fun making this card.  This bundle is so much fun to work with because you have a stamp set, dies, AND a Hybrid Embossing Folder.  (The hybrid folders coordinate with the dies, so you can have your stamped images both die-cut AND embossed!)  I love love love the sailboat here!

How pretty, right?!  Hee.  I did some watercoloring for the sailboat.  I was going for "sunset sail" when making it.  So ...

I first stamped and embossed the sailboat with white embossing powder.  Then I did some watercoloring with Peach Pie, Strawberry Slush, & Lemon Lolly for the sails.  I colored the boat with Pecan Pie.  Once it was dry, I embossed it with the hybrid folder!  I did some splatter with the White Craft Ink & then even embossed with white embossing powder over that.  I used some DSP from my stash in Pool Party for the card front & I love the detail and texture that adds.

I am obsessed with this bird die that is in the die set as well.  HOW CUTE ARE THEY?!  😊  But I would insist that before you die-cut them, you add Adhesive Sheet behind the cardstock you are cutting from.  This makes them easy to apply stickers.  Using other adhesive for something this thin would be obvoxious.  Doing it this way was a breeze.  Maybe even an "ocean breeze."  Hee.  See what I did there?!  😉

All in all ... totally love this card & how happy it makes me when I look at it.  I have the full card posted below for one more look.  But I hope you enjoy this card and it brings a little sunshine to your day!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Just make sure you head to the Stampin' Fancy Friday Instagram page to see what all the other designers have been sharing all month with Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives!  You will fall in love, I'm sure!

Nature Is My Hero ... TGIF Challenge #535!

We have a fun theme challenge going on for TGIF Challenge #535 this week! Time to honor our heros!  I took a little bit different approach for this theme challenge.  A theme challenge where I am kinda honoring another theme.  Haha.  I wanted to honor one of my biggest heros ... nature.  Nature is one of the biggest healers in my life ... whether scuba diving in the ocean or hiking a mountain, or a nature walk, to just being outside to soak up some sun and breathe fresh air, etc, etc ... she heals me.  So here's to NATURE!  You truly are the best! 😍

And the official challenge!

This card was a lot of fun to make too.  BONUS!  Hee.  All the products I used are from Stampin' Up! I used the Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set with the Patterns of Friendship Stamp Set for the greeting.  And did some watercoloring with Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, & Coastal Cabana.  I stamped the floral image in Secret Sea.  LOVE this color, for the record.  Hee.

The fun little tag sticking out from the side is from the Storybook Friends Dies.  I love that little detail!  The background paper is from the Boho Vibes paper pack.  😍

Here is one last look at the full card:

Thanks so much for visiting!  I hope you enjoy this card.  And now you can head on over to the
TGIF Challenge Blog to see what the other designers made & to play along with us!  Can't wait to see what you make!

Please let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs!

Layered Thoughts + Extraordinary Flora Thanks!

Just a quick post today for a fun thank you card.  I combined the Layered Thoughts Stamp Set with the Extraordinary Flora Bundle from Stampin' Up!  Love these products and a bit obsessed with the Extraordinary Flora Bundle! 😍

Just stamped the flora images, colored with Blends Markers, embossed the greeting, and then layered it all together!

How fun, right?!  Look how fabulous this bundle is!  One stamp, one die, and a WHOLE BUNCH of florals!

I hope you enjoy!  Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs!

I was going through my stash the other day and literally said "I forgot I had this!" all excitedly when I came across this stamp set.  So kinda the perfect one to use for this challenge, huh?!  Hee.

The stamp set is the Places You'll Go Stamp Set & the paper is from the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper pack.  I also used the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.  All of that is from my "stash" - Stampin' Up! products that have been retired.  But I die-cut the globe with the Stylish Shapes Dies - which is a current product!  Yay!  (And a fabulous current product, just saying.  Hee.)

The globe is stamped & embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  Then watercolored with Lemon Lime Twist & Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana & Azure Afternoon.  Pretty gorgeous, if I do say so myself.  Hee.

Sunshine Vibes! With the Artisan Design Team!

Well yay!  It is product spotlight time with some of the Stampin' Up! 2025 Artisan Design Team!  This time we are sharing fun inspiration made with the Sunshine Vibes Bundle!  YES!  I can't get enough of this!  Hee.  So let's get started!

Both of these cards were SOOOO! MUCH! FUN! to make!  Let me show you a few details about them!  All supplies used are from Stampin' Up!

First tip: Stamp the half sun stamp twice to make a full circle.  Then stamp the rays around it.  Great thing about these photopolymer stamps - you can see through them to be able to line it up well.

Second tip: Draw lines with a Blends Marker (Nope - didn't use a ruler.  Wanted a more whimsical, not perfect, vibe since you were just seeing a bit peek out.  Use a ruler if you want more exact spacing & straight lines.

Third tip:  Color some Blends Marker onto Basic White Cardstock.  You can control color saturation by using Blends.  Let dry.  Then emboss over them.

Yeah ... I love this card! 😃

On to a few details about the next card:

I used Blending Brushes to add color in "rainbow" order.  Then I splattered some water over it all to create that splatter look.  Emboss with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder and voila!  A gorgeous & colorful background!  It was fun to mix it up and make a "rainbow" background with white rainbows!

Hope you enjoy these cards! Have you played with this fabulous Sunshine Vibes Bundle yet?!

Make sure you check out all the projects from the other Artisan Design Team Members that are sharing today!  You do NOT want to miss what everyone has in store for you!

Piccadilly Players Hop #2! It Is Time For Some Faves!!!

Yippee!!!  It's time for ANOTHER Piccadilly Players Hop!  See THIS POST from our first hop & the introduction of us and the hop!

Today this hop is all about sharing some love for our favorite ☆ NEW ☆ products from Stampin' Up!  There is a BRAND NEW Annual Catalog & FABULOUS Online Releases ... so it is not an easy choice.  But really ... it wasn't that difficult for me.  😂   Can't stop, won't stop, using the SUNSHINE VIBES Bundle.  OH.  MY.  GOODNESS.  It is just TOO good! So let's get this hop started!

All supplies are from ©️ Stampin' Up!

Colors Strawberry Slush, Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Basic Black
Inks: Strawberry Slush, Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia: + BLENDS IN SAME COLORS & Basic Black Blends (for splatter), Lemon Lolly, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Thick Basic White, Basic Black, Textured Metallic Speciality Paper
Stamps: Sunshine Vibes, Pattern of Friendship
Tools:  Sunshine Vibes Dies, Plaster Painting Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Blending Brush
Accessories: Iridescent Faceted Gems, Basics WOW! Embossing Powder, Summer Splash 3/8" Bordered Ribbon

I had a lot of fun playing with these rainbow pieces.  For reference ... here is a photo of the bundle.  Then I will break it down a bit about what I did on this card!

So much fun, right?!  So may layers and options and fun things to do!  For this I kept it pretty simple.  Here were my steps to create my rainbow:

🌈  Die-cut the large rainbow base piece from Basic White Cardstock.

🌈  Add Adhesive Sheet to the back of Basic White Cardstock.

🌈  Die-cut the solid rainbow layers die-cut piece.

🌈  Use Blends Markers to color your rainbow layers in desired colors!  NOTE: I used Strawberry Slush, Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash, & Fresh Freesia.

🌈  Use the stamps from the Sunshine Vibes (as shown in the photo below) to stamp the rainbow layers - stamped in the same ink color as Blends Marker used.

🌈  Peel off backing and adhere the layers to the base rainbow piece!

So easy and fun, huh?!  Then it's just adding some other fun details & you have a fabulously cheerful card for a special someone's birthday!  I. Love. This. Rainbow. 💖

I do want to point out this fun detail too ... that ruffle ribbon edge!

I just used the Summer Splash 3/8" Bordered Ribbon (on the Last Chance list so grab this quick!) and adhered it down the back on the side.  I used the Tear & Tape Adhesive and then just folded the ribbon back and forth down the whole side.  Then added another strip of tape over it all when I was done.  It's so fun & adds some stunning texture to the card!

Here is another look at the full card ...

Now, guess what?!  Yes you got it!  It's time to keep hoppity hopping to see what everyone else made to share!  There is SO! MUCH! GORGEOUS! INSPIRATION in store for you!  We are hopping on Instagram so head on over to my page - @designwithink to follow along!
