In this post today I just want to share with you all the fun I had with this month's kit!  It came with supplies to make 8 cards.  And the cards have these fabulous wooden words.  They have 4-"congrats" and 4-"thank you" phrases.  Here is a sample of the cards as they were designed...

Now...here is a little tip.  This kit comes with 8 cards and all the supplies, 8 envelopes, and 8 gold foil liners.  The tip is this...cut down the envelope liners a little on the bottom.  No one that gets the card will look to the bottom of the envelope to see if the gold goes all the way down.  :) And now you have some fun gold foil to put on your cards!  Here is the card above with just a few additions...

And then I went to town playing with the rest of the supplies.  Here are more cards I made with this kit and just a few other additions from my stamping stash...

As you can see...so many possibilities with this kit!  I stamped, glittered, colored and embossed the wooden words.  And just had so much fun with the stamps and card supplies!  Then...since I had so much fun...my card supplies were all gone!  Sad!  But never fear!  There are stamps (and ink!) in the kits that you can use over and over again.  So here is a card I made with the stamps...

Just some close-ups of the details...

***Note:  The stamps in the kit are the chevron type stamp going across the Whisper White cardstock in the different colors and then the banner type stamp in the background stamped in gray.***

SEE HOW MUCH FUN PAPER PUMPKIN IS!!!!  And guess what is even better!?  When you subscribe to My Paper Pumpkin and choose me as your demonstrator...you will have access to a private blog with lots of additional ideas for each months kits!  How much FUN is that?!?!

More Envelope Punch Board Box Fun...

Back in THIS POST I posted one of our club projects for the month.  It was a fun box made with the Envelope Punch Board.  Well I made a few other ones.  This is a little smaller than the one we made for club.  I love it's small size.  Too cute!  Here is one of them...

Fun...right?!  And those Banners!  LOVE LOVE them!  You have until March 31st to earn the Banner stamp set and coordinating punch for FREE!  Email me at designwithink@gmail.com for details!

Here is another view...

I forgot to get a pic of the belly band off the box but you just slide the belly band off and then the box opens this way...

Here is another box I made in the same size as the one above.

Love this fun flower.  And love that Designer Series Paper around the box.  It can be earned FREE as well, before March 31st!  Here is another view...

Floral Fun Decor...

I have been meaning to share this for awhile.  I needed something for a wall in my stamp room, and I wanted to make it myself.  I don't always find things in stores that I love so why not take matters into my own hands?!  :)  I love using my stamping supplies for decor!  I got this rather large shadow box frame at a store and went to town to make something that would be an inspiration when I looked at it.  Here is what I came up with...

Some of the walls in my stamp room are Melon Mambo (I LOVE HOT PINK!!!!) and some are Pink Pirouette.  Then I have black accents and I am currently looking for some turquoise chairs and such.  (I need to take some pics of my stamp room to show you how I organize and such.  If I can ever get it cleaned, I will do that.  :) )  Anyway...so I went with that color combo.  I knew I was hanging it on one of the Melon Mambo walls so I just used that color as the accent.  I framed a piece of Pink Pirouette paper (I used a whole 12x12 sheet in the framed portion if that helps you see how big this is.)

Here is another view...

I was going to do a bunch of flowers in the frame but I decided I just wanted to keep it simple.  I used the Floral Frames Framelits to make the flower.  Here is a close-up...

The flower is the largest Floral Framelit.  It's pretty big in real life.  I used a bone folder to curl the edges and make it really pop and such.

I love the word "create" for my stamp room so I went with that in this frame.  Here is a close-up...

I made this awhile ago with that big wide Gray ribbon was in the mini catalog.  I did recently see it on the Clearance Rack.  So check out my site if you need some of that. :-) It's FANTASTIC stuff to work with!  www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Go create something today!  I encourage you to try something new with your stamping stuff!

Shake, Shake, Shake...

I posted a shaker card in THIS POST.  Well, it had been awhile since I had made a shaker card and I loved that one so much...so had to make another.  Just wanted to share it with you today.  Here is the card...

Loving this color combo! It's Strawberry Slush, Basic Gray, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. So fun!  Lots of fun things you could do with this combo!  I used two main stamp sets:  Feel Goods and Petal Parade (Sale-A-Bration set that you can get FREE until March 31st!) and one background stamp, Chevron.  I love how well these sets go together.

This shaker card was so easily put together.  Just cut a piece of cardstock and Window Sheet the same size.  Then secure 3 sides with Washi Tape.  Cut some confetti with the Fringe Scissors (just cut up into a sheet of cardstock but don't cut all the way through the cardstock.  Then cut the other way, making the small square confetti.  Add some confetti and seal up the 4th side.  So easy and fun!!!  Here is another pic...

Have to say... loving that button.  (I LOVE buttons!) This is a Melon Mambo button from the Brights Collection but works great with the Strawberry Slush accents!  And LOVE LOVE that ruffled stretch ribbon!  So much fun to work with!  And you certainly can't go wrong with the Chevron background stamp!!!

This card was a lot of fun to make!  Try one yourself and see how much fun shaker cards are!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoyed this project! Let me know if you have any questions!

Clubbers Gift...

I posted this months club projects HERE and HERE.  I also had a special gift for my club members this month.  I wanted to thank them for being a part of my club.  And since they add so much "bling" to my life...I wanted to give them some bling!  Here is what I gave them...

Fun, right?!  I just wanted to share this because I want you to see how easy it is to spruce up a gift.  It's a simple gift that ANY crafter would LOVE!  A package of Self-Adhesive Rhinestones (these are the large ones)...why YES please!  But a package of Self-Adhesive Rhinestones that is decorated cute...YES PLEASE MORE!  :)  Here is a close-up of the decor part...

I used some Sale-A-Bration products on these.  (GET FREE PRODUCTS with a $50 merchandise order until March 31st!  Email me at designwithink@gmail.com!)  The "Sweet Sorbet" paper that I added to the top  and the tag is one of the items I used.  Then the stamp set, Petal Parade, is also one.  The greeting is from a stamp set available to demonstrators only.  We were given it at Leadership this year.  I LOVE this saying and completely feel this way about the stampers I have met by being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  The tag is from the Chalk Talk framelits.  I also used the "Sweet Sorbet" Designer Series Paper to die-cut a hexagon piece from the "Hexagon Hive" thinlit.  (This is an amazing die, by the way!)  Then just added some of the flowers that were stamped and embossed with Whisper White embossing powder and the greeting.  A button and Baker's Twine finishes it off.  So easy and fun and hopefully my clubbers know how much I appreciate them and love our monthly meetings!  (We would love to have you join our club!  Just email me...designwithink@gmail.com for more details!)

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!

March Club Card...

Last night was club night!  I love my monthly gathering with my club gals!  They are so much fun and we have a great time together.  Here is the card we made this month...

Have to say...this card is SO MUCH FUN!  It's a "shaker" card.  Which means when you shake it...the little confetti shakes all over and makes it so much fun!  And these are SO easy to do!  It's just cardstock that you stamp on, Window sheet over the cardstock, confetti EASILY cut with Fringe Scissors, then secure it together with Washi Tape!  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Here are a few more pics...
LOOK AT THAT CONFETTI SHAKING ALL OVER!
Now...in case you are asking...Where did that gold flag come from?  The Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine?  The Gold Twine?  Envelopes?  Gold Envelope Liners? The super fun polka dot cards?!  Welllllll....this is one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration items!  It's a SUPER fun card kit!  So trendy and cheery and wonderful!  Get yours FREE before March 31st with any $50 merchandise order!  Email me at designwithink@gmail.com with any questions!

Banners, Banners, Everywhere!

I LOVE the Banners Trend!  Seriously...just love it!  They are everywhere...so why not be in our crafting?!  Well I have a fun project to share with you today.  This was one of our amazing Make and Take projects we had at the demonstrator meeting I went to recently.  I talked about this meeting in THIS POST and THIS POST also.  Here is this bannerific project for you...

It is a fun box with 4 note cards inside.  Such a simple project with so much POP with those fun banners!!!  Here are the cards...

How cute...right?!?!  GRAB this banner set and the coordination Banner punch FREE until March 31st with your qualifying order!  Check out the Sale-A-Bration brochure and email me with any questions.  designwithink@gmail.com

And just have to say...at these events...I don't often get pictures of people.  Kinda funny...but there are always so many fun projects and displays to take pics of that I kinda forget!  My friend did snap this picture of me and my two fab friends as we were talking to the group (I'm in the middle)...

It was a BLAST of a day!  Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoy this project!!

You Know You "Washi" Make One...

Today I have to share this fun project we made at a demonstrator training event I went to last Saturday.  This was one of our Make and Takes.  I LOVE this one!  It was so quick, easy, and mess free!  You can buy unfinished, plain wooden frames at most craft stores.  I have usually seen these painted and decorated.  Well here is a project with them where NO PAINT is required!  And it's SOOOO CUTE and fun!  If you read the title of this post, you can probably guess how we decorated it...WITH WASHI TAPE!

Here is the project...

HOW FUN IS THIS?!  Love, LOVE, LOVE!!!  Coordinate that Washi tape with the fun Sale-A-Bration banner set and punch (that you earn FREE!!!  See the catalog HERE), some Burlap ribbon, ruffled In Color ribbon...YUM!  Love it!

Here is a close-up shot of some of the details...

I LOVE adding the ruffled In Color ribbon behind the burlap ribbon!  The Baked Brown Sugar matches the ribbon PERFECTLY if you want a more neutral look.  Or use one of the fun, trendy colors for a fun pop!  LOVE!

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks for visiting!

Hello There...

I had the MOST AMAZING day this past Saturday!  I was able to attend a meeting some of my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator friends put together.  They did an INCREDIBLE job and we had a blast!  I will share more of the event in another post, but today I wanted to share with you the swap card I made for the event.  (What is a swap card?!  Swapping is where everyone participating makes multiples of one card.  Then when you get together, you all swap your cards!  This is a great way to get a ton of different ideas!)

Here is the card...

I have to admit...kinda loving all the pieces to this card.  It's just a simple, layered look.  But with Washi Tape, Glimmer paper, rhinestones, some stamping, and a little Crystal Effects...how on earth could you go wrong?!  This would be a great layout to use over and over again!  Here are a few different shots of the card...

Now when I said "Crystal Effect" in the list above, you may have been wondering where that was.  (And maybe you were wondering WHAT that is?!  Crystal Effects is one of my FAVE go-to items!  It can be used as an adhesive but I love to use it to add a 3D epoxy look to items.)  Look at that heart.  It's just punched from some Designer Series Paper.  Then I added a thick layer of Crystal Effect to the whole heart to give it a shiny, glossy, epoxy-like look.  LOVE!

I hope you like this card!  This card actually won me a spot in the swap contest they did!  2nd place!  Whoo hoooo!  Stay tuned for another post about this amazing event!
