Rainbow Bright Skies For Some Cheer!

Who needs a little cheer to brighten their day?!  I know the day I made this card, I did!  Sometimes you just need to make a card for yourself, you know?!  😁

Colors:  Melon Mambo, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, Basic White, Basic Black

Inks: Lemon Lolly, Coastal Cabana, VersaMark

Cardstock/Papers: Melon Mambo, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, Basic White, Basic Black, Adhesive Sheets

Stamps: Bright Skies

Tools:  Bright Skies Dies, Birch Wood Embossing Folder, Blending Brush, Water Painter, Heat Tool

Accessories: Iridescent Faceted Gems, Basics WOW! Embossing Powder

I had a lot of fun making this card & it really cheered me up.  The rainbow is made with small strips of cardstock that I adhered in rainbow order.  Then I just stamped & die-cut the sun out.  And die-cut some clouds to layer on the bottom of the card. 

The background was just made by using a Blending Brush to add a light layer of Coastal Cabana ink & some splatter.  Then embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder.  

This was a fun and fairly quick card to make!  Here are some more photos to see the details!

Very Fall Themed Color Challenge for TGIF #497!

It is NOVEMBER!!! of 2024!!!!!  How is this possible?!  I will never know.  But alas ... here we are!  And it's time to play along with another TGIF Challenge! Yay!  And another ever popular COLOR CHALLENGE is here!  These colors scream Fall season, and I just went with it for this one.  (Although I did debate doing something totally not fall related just because.  Hee.)

I *almost* switched out Cherry Cobbler for Melon Mambo.  Because that's more "me."  Hee.  But - hey!  It's a challenge!  So I stuck with it completely!  😊

I hope you enjoy!  It is a really easy card to make!  Just a bit of die-cutting, embossing, and stamping a sentiment!  You could whip out a bunch of these in no time!
