One of my very favorite items in this release is the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper.  The colors are fabulous AND the images coordinate with our punches!  I have to admit...this umbrella is probably my favorite image.

I also really love these almost cartoon-y floral images that are in the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set.  HOW CUTE are they?!  😍😍😍

Sale-A-Bration Sending You Thoughts With Tasteful Textures...

I'm back!!!  So I am sorry I took a little blogging break.  But I am back and ready to go!  We are down to the final few weeks of the 2020 Sale-A-Bration sale!  Have you earned the Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set yet?!  It is a fun greeting stamp set that can easily pair with any other stamp set you own!  Want to see what I made with it?!  I paired it with a stamp set from the Annual Catalog called Tasteful Textures.

Stamps: Sending You Thoughts, Tasteful Textures

Tools: Heat Tool, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, Subtle Embossing Folder

Accessories: Whisper White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

And I LOVE this bright pop of color that would cheer up anyone's day!  It would have to make them feel pretty good for anything that they deserve a congratulations for, right?!  😀  This card is really simple to make too...even though it may look a little complicated to get those shades of color for the background. 

1.  Stamp image repeatedly onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, inking each time before stamping.  Melon Mambo ink was used for this card.

2.  Spritz the paper with water so that the color bleeds.  Get it really wet and let it "run" around the paper.  

3.  Heat with a Heat Tool until dry!  

That is it!  I love the shading and how gorgeous it looks when it's all dried!  Each one should look a little different, which will make it even more fun! 

Then I just added the sentiment and some bling!

It's A Birthday Bonanza Pillow Box!

Pillow Boxes are such a fun way to give a birthday gift card or other small gift.  When they are decorated with the cute guys from the Birthday Bonanza Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Mini Catalog...well I think it is even more fun!

Aren't they just so cute!  This was all pretty much done with the Designer Series Paper. The lion and koala were just fussy cut from the paper.  The Happy Birthday greeting is from the Clubhouse Stamp Set. 

Even though I did do some fussy cutting, this project came together quite quickly.  And a little tip...if you tie the ribbon around the top and bottom of the pillow box, instead of around the sides...the recipient can open it super easy!

Love that Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder.  And I watercolored that fun golfer, after I embossed him in gold.  So much fun!!!

All in all, this was a fun card to make.  I love the splatter of sequins too...they kinda represent the path of the golf ball he hit...so it's still totally masculine.  Hee.

Lily Pad Birthday...TGIF Challenge 251:

It's that time again!  You ready for a fun challenge?!  Well...yay!  Then you have come to the right place!  Each week, over on the TGIF Challenge Blog, we give you a new challenge!  All you have to do is be inspired by the challenge, make something, and then post it on that blog!  It is so much fun to play along!  This week...we are using a fun sketch!

Here was my take on the sketch:

Now you will notice the sketch has "photo" in that rectangle.  Well...I made a little watercolored "photo" for mine.  And turned it into a card!  Use the challenge as an inspiration!  Doesn't have to be exact!

Look how much fun that watercoloring is!  I watercolored the lily pad, after I stamped it onto Watercolor Paper.  Then I added a little Mango Melody wash behind the die-cut flowers to bring out the Mango Melody lilies.  😍  (Also...lets talk about how you can earn the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set FOR FREE!  AND the Lily Pad Dies FOR FREE!  All during Sale-A-Bration!  Let me know what questions you have!  I can hook you up!  😁)

I also love this little accent I made with just die-cutting the dies in white, and adhere to the Whisper White card front.  So fun!

Love Blossom Heart Foil...

LOVE is in the air!  Tomorrow is Valentine's Day!!!  Yay!  Decorated some of the Heart Foil Tins and just put some chocolate in.  You can totally bake in them, so had good intentions of baking mini cakes.  :-)  But...I just did chocolate for these.  Still a total win!  They are ADORABLE!!!!

Watercolored 3x3's...

I had so much fun watercoloring the other day, that I wanted to make some little watercolored notes.  Also...I LOVE the Label Me Bold Stamp Set and thought the sentiments from this would be the perfect stamp set to go with these notes.

Cardstock/Papers:  Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper

Stamps: Label Me Bold

Tools: Stitched Shapes Dies, Stitched Be Mine Dies, Aqua Painter

Accessories: Woven Thread Sequins

They were easy breezy to make.  I just cut out some squares from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with the 2nd largest square in the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Then just added some color, splattered it, and dried it with the heat tool.  Added that cute little floral die-cut & sentiment.  This stamp set is SO EASY to use!  Just stamp it in black on Whisper White, then cut it out.  And it looks like my fave white embossed sentiments on black cardstock!

Seriously The Best Congrats!

Just a little watercoloring wash fun today!  Because everyday is better with some watercoloring, right?!  Hee.

Tools: Sweet Silhouette Dies, Aqua Painter

Accessories: Woven Thread Sequins, Bermuda Bay 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon, White Stampin' Emboss Powder

I kept the whole card simple, because I just loved the watercolor wash so much.  😀   I love this dandelion die-cut from the Sweet Silhouettes Dies.  I thought it was the perfect little accent. 

I stamped the "congrats" greeting in VersaMark ink onto Vellum cardstock, embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder, and then fussy cut it out.  I'm pretty much in love with how it looks on this card.  😍

Love that little touch of ribbon under the "you did it!" greeting also.  😀
