Needlepoint Navy...

I've had a lot of fun playing with the Needlepoint Nook Suite lately.  Have you checked it out?! It is in the Occasions Catalog, and it's quite a lot of fun!  I made a bunch of thank you cards with it the other day.  Because if one card is good...a stack of them is better, right?!  😀

Colors: Night of Navy, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Granny Apple Green
Ink Pads: Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Garden Apple Green, Memento Black
Cardstock/Papers Night of Navy, Shimmer White, Daffodil Delight, Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Needle & Thread
Tools: Big Shot, Country Floral Embossing Folder, Needlepoint Elements Dies, Story Label Punch
Accessories: Basic Self-Adhesive Sequins, Linen Thread, Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon

And do you love this Country Floral Embossing Folder as much as me?!  You have until the end of this month to snag this one FREE with a qualifying order!!!  It is so fabulous!!

Look how cool this flower stamps.  You just ink & stamp it one time -- and look at the detail you get!  And the framelits are so much fun...they cut all of that out.  The flowers, the leaves, and so much more!

Kinda fun!  And serious...how fun is a stack of these cards?!

Hope you enjoy this card!  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!  Here's a quick look at what the suite has to offer:

Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop March 2019: Classic Garage!

Artisan Blog Hop Time!!!  Are you SOOOO excited?!  Is this your first stop or did you just come from the fabulous Angela?!  If you have already begun hopping around this hop...welcome!!!  If you are just getting started...yay!  We have lots of amazing creations to share with you!!!

This hop is all about the Classic Garage Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog!  🙌 This is such a fun suite with so much goodness!  :-)  I used the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set (# 148590) and the Garage Gears Dies (#148521),  I used these along with the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper (#148142) & the Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon (#148146).   Here's a peek at what I made:

I have to admit...those gears dies HAVE. MY. HEART!  They are so much fun and there are SO many things you can do with them!!!  Have you used them yet?!

ColorsWhisper White, Gray Granite, Tranquil Tide
Ink Pads: Gray Granite, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Basic Black, Classic Garage Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Geared Up Garage
Tools: Big Shot, Garage Gears Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon

I have to admit...I had a lot of fun using them this way.  Just cut out a few and adhered them to another piece of cardstock.  Kinda makes a fun texture, but more subtly.  I intend to do this more, and would be fun with lots of different colors!

I also had a great time making this box:

ColorsBasic Black, Tranquil Tide, Crushed Curry, Basic Gray
Ink Pads: Basic Gray, Staz On Black, Tranquil Tide
Cardstock/Papers Basic Black, Whisper White, Classic Garage Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Geared Up Garage
Tools: Big Shot, Garage Gears Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Simply Scored, Heat Tool
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon, Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon

The box is made from just one sheet of cardstock.  So easy!  Just cut in half (so you have two cardstock pieces of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"), and then add some score lines.  These can vary--depending on the size of box that you want.  I scored mine at (with the 8 1/2" side at the top of the Simply Scored Board) 3 1/2" & 4 3/4"  Then rotate your cardstock 90 degrees and score at 1 1/2" & 4".  Then you just cut on your score lines to make tabs to put your box together and then adhere it all together.  (Let me know if you have any questions!!!)

The fun focal point was a lot of fun to make.  And if you are strictly a card maker, you could easily turn this into a card!

I had so much fun playing with all these fun products!  (That watercolored car...swoon!!!  😍😍😍) What is your favorite part?!  Have you played with these products yet?!  If not...let me know how I can help you get them in your hands!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us!  I can't wait for you to see what else is in store!  So make sure you click through the whole hop to discover all the paper goodies that await you!  😁  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!  I'm just a quick message away!  Look forward to hearing from you!

Next up is Aurélie!  Go check it out!

Here is a sneak peek at all the projects you will see today!

Falling Flowers Meets Giggle...

I have mentioned this before, but I 💕 LOVE LOVE LOVE 💕 the Part of My Story Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set.  The sentiment, "Let's Get Together and Giggle"...ARE YOU SERIOUS?!  Can't get enough of it!  I want ALL the cards with this sentiment.  Haha.  So used one of the Annual Catalog stamp sets, Falling Flowers, with that sentiment to make this card:

Colors: Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo
Ink Pads: Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Thick Whisper White, Watercolor Paper, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Falling Flowers, Part Of My Story
Tools: Story Label Punch, Daisy Punch (for notches on side of paper to hold the Linen Thread), May Flowers Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestones

I have been a little obsessed with watercoloring these days, in case you have noticed.  Hee.  So I decided this time I wanted to watercolor some floral images.  First I embossed the florals onto some scrap Watercolor Paper I had laying around.  Then I just used some ink & an Aqua Painter to color the images in...

After it dried, I just used the coordinating dies ~ May Flowers ~ to cut out all the flowers & layered them with the greeting.  This greeting makes me SOOOOOO happy!  Here are some photos of the details:

I also stamped one of the flowers from the stamp set in Crumb Cake ink onto the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper.  (This paper is a FABULOUS purchase because it can be used for ANY style, ANY occasion, with ANY stamp set.  LOVE LOVE this paper...just FYI.  😁)

Let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to hear from you!!!

Celebrate With Gears!

It's no secret that I struggle a bit in the "make a manly card" area.  I LOVE flowers, pink, glitter, etc.  These are all not things that you may typically use to describe a card with a "manly" feel.  (However...that is also not to say that you can't use these things when making manly cards also!!!) Anyway...I made a more manly card the other day so thought I better share.  😁

ColorsGray Granite, Basic Black, Whisper White, Basic Gray, Tranquil Tide
Ink Pads: VersaMark, Gray Granite
Cardstock/Papers Gray Granite, Basic Black, Whisper White, Classic Garage Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Geared Up Garage
Tools: Garage Gears Dies, Heat Tool, Stapler
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon, Faceted Dots, Fine Tip Glue Pen

I feel like this card need a little bit of work, but it is what it is for now.  I do LOVE this gear from the Garage Gears Dies (item # 148521)!  Check out the gloss on this beauty...

Isn't that fun?!  Want to know how I did that?!  Well...I just used the Fine Tip Glue Pen (item #138309)!  I just spread some out on the gear and let it dry!  (***Tip:  I would recommend putting it on the Silicone Craft Sheet first - item #127853 - and adding the glue.  Then let dry and add to project.  For this project...I didn't decide to add the glue until I was almost done with the card.  So I just carefully did it when it was already attached to the project.)

All in all...I created a more manly card than my norm.  😀

TGIF Challenge 201...Flowering Desert With Color:

It is TGIF CHALLENGE time!!  Woot!  🙌  We have a fun Color Challenge for you!!!  I love color challenges...it is such a fun starting off point to whatever you want to make!  I made a quick card using the Flowering Deseret Stamp Set...

Colors: Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather, So Saffron, Basic Black
Ink Pads: VersaMark, Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather, So Saffron Re-inker
Cardstock/Papers Basic Black, Shimmery White, Watercolor Paper, Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Flowering Desert
Tools: AquaPainter
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Gold Thread, Metallics Sequins Assortment

Can you guess the colors I used?!  😀  If not...here is the official challenge photo that will give you a clue...

I am a bit obsessed with watercoloring these days.  😀  So I did a watercolor wash in So Saffron ink onto Watercolor Paper...

Then added a Soft Sea Foam cactus and some Highland Heather flowers (that I stamped onto scratch paper first)!  And color challenge complete.  😀

Hard to photograph, but I spritzed some glimmer spray (made with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint) onto the whole card base also.  It adds a fun shimmer all over.  Here are just a couple more pics of the details...

Can't wait to see what you make!  Head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog to play along!!!  Let me know if you have any questions!!
