Playing with Pattern Play...TGIF Challenge 269:

I am a bit late in posting this, but there was no way I wasn't going to get something done for this challenge!  Who has made their own patterned paper before?!  There used to be a time where that was pretty much your only option.  But still I find that sometimes--it is just as easy to make your own with exactly what you want.  So welcome TGIF Challenge #269!  You are a fun one!  First up...my submission:

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Petal Pink

Inks:  Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Petal Pink, VersaMark

Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black

Stamps: Pattern Play, Well Said

Tools: Heat Tool, Playful Alphabet Dies

Accessories:  Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon, Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (white twine), Whisper White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Foam Adhesive Sheets, Sponge Dauber

 

 

I stamped that panel of white using the Pattern Play Stamp Set.  The bundle that this stamp set comes in is AMAZING...because it is bundled with the Playful Alphabet Dies!  One of my FAVORITE items in the New Catalog!  😍😍😍  Also...that ribbon that I pleated behind the cardstock...yes, please.  😁

I mean, seriously.  ♡ MAJOR ♡ swoon worthy!  I. LOVE. THOSE. LETTERS!!!!  Also...playing a great supporting role...can I get a shout-out for those Foam Adhesive Sheets!  I adhered some Magenta Madness cardstock to a portion of a sheet, then just used the dies to cut it all out!  It cut through all at once.  And was so easy! 

And this stamp set...LOVE!  Just stamped all these stripes down some Whisper White cardstock, and then when it was dry, I sponged some Petal Pink ink over it.  

All in all, this was a super fun card to make!  Would be fun to make in some masculine colors as well!  You could also do lots of different sentiments!
