Bold & Bright With Memorable Blooms Bundle! Stampin' Fancy Friday January!

I love a fun Bold & Bright Challenge in the middle of winter here in the United States!  You don't have to ask me twice to play along!  Hee.  Have you seen all the fun projects that have been posted on the Stampin' Fancy Friday Instagram page by the design team?!  I hope so because they are PHENOMENAL!  And today I get to share what I made!  Surprise ... I had to use Lemon Lolly again! 😀

I also used the Memorable Blooms Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Jan-April 2025 Mini Catalog ... because it is FABULOUS! 😍  I also used TWO ☆FREE☆ Sale-A-Bration items!   Yay!  The Designer Series Paper - Toadstool Gardens - and the Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins are the free items I used!  SO MUCH FUN!  I love this time of year! 

Want to see some details?!  Well ... here you go! 

I stamped the greeting repeatedly down the cardfront before embossing it.  Then I also used a Blending Brush to add some Lemon Lolly ink over the stamped words to make it all pop a bit more.  Once again - did this before embossing it.  Then I embossed it, tore the edges, & added a little "peek-a-boo" of the Designer Series Paper.  

The rest was just stamping, embossing, coloring with Blends, die-cutting,  & then layering together! 

I loved making this card and need some more "Bold & Bright" cards in my future to get through this winter!  Hee.  Make sure you check out all the other cards posted over on Instagram on the Stampin' Fancy Friday page!

Basic Beige is a new color that was added to the Stampin' Up! color family with the new annual catalog that came out last summer.  And I LOVE the addition!  It is such a gorgeous, subtle neutral that adds some depth - even when paired with a mostly white card.  Look how gorgeous it is with some white embossing on it ... 

And this Elements Of Text Stamp Set is going to get a work out in my craft room, I imagine!  I LOVE LOVE it!  This is the first time I used it, but it most definitely won't be the last! 😍  Another shout out to those stunningly gorgeous sequins!  I maybe haven't been able to stop using them since I got my hands on them.  Hee.

More Dec 2024 Paper Pumpkin Fun! An Alternative!

If you are still playing with Stampin' Up!'s Dec 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit ... then I have some fun alternatives to share with you that you can make with just a few extra supplies!  Today I am sharing one using just some extra paper and dies.  

How fun is this?!  I used some cardstock (Basic White for the card base & Old Olive for the greeting), some Designer Series Paper (Perennial Lavender ... the gingham paper 😍), Gold Foil Sheets for the flowers, the Sentimental Park Dies for the flowers, & some Linen Thread.  

The scalloped background piece is actually the sticky label from the kit that is supposed to go on the envelope.  I LOVE LOVE this piece!  😁. And then that big gorgeous floral image is from the kit.  

This card was quick & easy to put together.  I hope it inspires you to play along & get crafting!  It is so good for my soul! 😃

Dec 2024 Paper Pumpkin Alternate - Notes From the Heart Kit!

Have you seen or played with the Dec 2024 Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin Kit, called Notes From the Heart?!  I hope so ... because it is such a fun & gorgeous kit!  But today I am sharing something I made with the stamp set from the kit!  Because don't forget ... after the kit is made ... you still have a fun stamp set to play with! 😍

The stamp set that came with this set is so fabulous.  It is one I am sure I will reach for time and time again.  Sorry I forgot to grab a picture of it, but it is a bunch of greetings in a really fun font.  Something for every occasion!  So here ... I let the greeting be the star of the show!  😃  Also, I used one of the vellum pieces that came in the kit.  

I did, however, add a little interest to the vellum.  I took the white from the Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics and painted it over the vellum.  It adds a really pretty shimmer in real life.  And even curls the petals a bit as it dried.  💖 I love how it turned out!  

I actually made this card for the ladies at the Stampin' Up! Home Office that do the Paper Pumpkin videos each month.  I so appreciate all the hard work they put into those!  So it now sits at the home office.  Hee.

First Technique Share of Artisan 2025 Year! With Ocean Friends!

I got to share a fun technique this past week for the first technique share of the 2025 Artisan Year!  How exciting, right?! 😊  And I LOVE this fun way to make a shaker card! It is so quick & easy and you don't need much to do it!  I choose to make it with the FABULOUS Ocean Friends Bundle that is part of the Friends of the Ocean Suite! In the NEW Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog!  (This suite is MY FAVORITE!  Instant purchase the second that I could.  Hee.) But you can use whatever you have ... with one "secret" ingredient.  Hee.  A CLEAR ENVELOPE!  Yes ... a clear envelope!  Here we go!  Let me show you how to make this fun card!

A New Hop Is Beginning! Using My Stash With Magical Mermaid!

Isn't she perfect & perfect to use for this fabulous theme?! 😊🩷

I wanted to live up to the "magical" name of the stamp set ... so I created a magical ocean scene with gold embossing & watercoloring.  I watercolored over the gold embossing with Lost Lagoon, Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, & Pretty In Pink.  Make sure you use quite a bit of water when watercoloring so the colors bleed and blend together ... creating that magical ocean!  😍

Unfortunately I am dealing with bad winter weather lighting.  She's more stunning in real life.  😍 Hee.  But hopefully you can get a good idea of how pretty she is!  

I love this little silhouette mermaid stamp also.  All in all ... still very enamoured with this stamp set!

I love the Textured Floral Stamp Set & coordinating dies from Stampin' Up!  They are so gorgeous and so versatile.  So sharing a fun thank you card I made with these today!

This card was actually quite easy to make ... even with all the layers.  Just some stamping, some die cutting, and layering! 

Before I embossed the background cardstock piece with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder, I stamped on it then added some ink with a Blending Brush.  Love the easy way this adds interest and texture. 

All in all ... I love how this card turned out and love being able to share my gratitude in a cute & heartfelt way.  💗
