Fun With Sale-A-Bration...

I have a few projects to share with you tonight.  Wanted to share a couple things I have made with some of the fun Sale-A-Bration exclusive items... the Tasty Treats & Reverse Words stamp sets along with some of the Carried Away Designer Series Paper & the Sparkle Embossing Folder (which, as of today, is FREE until March 31st with a qualifying order)...

Don't worry...I have some close-up photos for you.  :-)

Colors: Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral
Cardstock/Papers: Watermelon Wonder, Watercolor Paper, Carried Away Designer Series Paper, Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Tasty Treats
ToolsBig Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits
Accessories: Gold Sequin Trim, Whisper White Baker's Twine

I LOVE this truck!  It's so much fun!  I used watercolor wonder pencils to color that sweet truck in....and then just added a few layers with some Designer Paper and sequins.

I love this next project...

Colors: Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Cardstock/Papers: Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Whisper White Carried Away Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Tasty Treats
ToolsBig Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Sparkle Embossing Folder
Accessories: Gold Thread, Gold Binder Clips, Calypso Coral Baker's Twine, Delicate White Doilies

Fun little treat bag with a tag on front.  I saw a card like this online and decided to turn it into a treat bag.  Thought it was fun to use the trucks like this...a quick and easy way.

I even embossed the treat bag...with one of the Embossing folders you can earn FREE until March 31st!  Seriously one of my most used and favorite embossing folders EVER...

And the last project...

Colors: Whisper White, Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay
Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Whisper White Thick, Sweet Sugarplum, Pool Party, Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper
Stamps: Reverse Words, Designer Tee
Tools: Triple Banner Punch, Stapler, Confetti Stars Punch

Super quick and simple card using the Reverse Words stamp set.  I know the Glimmer Paper I used here is now sold out, but you can easily replace with the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.

***QUICK TIP*** on adhering the stars easily.  Punch out some stars from Glimmer Paper with Confetti Stars punch.  Add very LIGHT drops of the liquid Tombow glue where you want the stars.  Pick up a star and drop into the glue (so you don't touch the glue and get sticky fingers!).  Then just press the star down with the tip of your scissors.  Easy, Peasy and mess free!!

Hope you enjoy these projects!  I had a ton of fun making them!  Let me know if you have any questions on anything!  And let me know how I can help you get the supplies you need for your projects!  Don't miss out on the Sale-A-Bration fun!  designwithink@gmail.com

It's Challenge Day!  I love these challenges.  This week is a theme challenge...

Make anything that inspires you from this!  Anything for baby, or even the colors, or whatever!  Head on over to the challenge blog and play along!  TGIF Challenge 99

But first...check out what I created with the theme...

ColorsSmoky Slate, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Silver, Whisper White
Cardstock/PapersSmoky Slate, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper, Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate, A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Foxy Friends
ToolsBig Shot, Layering Circles Thinlits, Fox Builder Punch, Heat Tool
Accessories: Silver Sequin Trim, Whisper White Embossing Powder

I finally used this fun "Foxy Friends" bundle!  Such a fun set of products...stamp set, coordinating punch, and even a coordinating paper stack!  Love it!  Will definitely be playing more with these fun products!

I mean really...look at that fox!  Here I just stamped him on a circle cut from the Layering Circles Framelits.  Then stamped an extra fox head and punched it out with the Fox Builder Punch and layered it on the body.

I love embossing with White on Black cardstock for greetings.  So much fun!  And check this out.  I received some cards from my upline this week and really loved the layout of this one card.  Well...I couldn't wait to CASE (copy and share everything) the card, so I took the opportunity for this challenge!  Here is this card next to the card I CASE'd!

Don't always feel like you have to "re-create the wheel" when you are crafting.  I love to see new takes on things already out there.

Hope you enjoy this card!  Head on over to the challenge blog and participate! Please let me know if you have any questions or need to order any Stampin' Up! supplies! designwithink@gmail.com

Lucky Decor...

Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day!  I always love a fun theme.  :-) Just wanted to share a quick and easy home decor piece you could make for the day!  It's using the Sale-A-Bration Glimmer Paper!  This. Is. Beautiful. Paper!  So much shimmer!  The Mint Macaron is the one I used here...

So fun, right?!  I used the Sweet & Sassy framelit dies to cut out 3 hearts.  Then I used 2 of the Oval Framelits layered together to cut out an oval frame and just snipped a part off for the stem.  Then just adhere it to a 4x4 canvas.  Fun little piece for your mantle or wherever you like to decorate!

Side note...have you noticed the "Labeler Alphabet" in the Annual Catalog?  It is such a fun one!  That is how I stamped the "lucky" sentiment.  Love it!

So what do you think? Quick and easy home decor...my fave thing to do!

Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any other questions!  Earn this glimmer paper FREE (with qualifying order) before the end of this month and it's gone!

This is a fun and easy card to make using the FABULOUS "Inside the Lines" Designer Series Paper.  Have you noticed this paper yet?  It's one of the FREE options you can pick during Sale-A-Bration... with a qualifying order...until March 31st!  I LOVE IT!  Detailed coloring pages are all the rage these days so you can do so many fun things.  Or just use the beautiful patterns without coloring...like I did here.

I combined it with the Sunshine Sayings Bundle....LOVE this bundle!  Sale-A-Bration would be a great time to add it to your collection!

Balloon Adventure Love...March Club Card...

Have you seen the past projects I've shared with the Party Animal Suite?  It's such a fun suite of products (stamps, thinlits, embellishments, ribbon, paper, washi) ... I have and will continue to use this a lot!  We used it at club this month even...and I just have to show how much fun the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits are.  So here we go...

The card front is pretty cute, and I love that Party Animal paper and those cute embellishments...

But check it out inside...

How fun is that balloon Pop-Up part?!?!  And that Washi--on the bottom?!?!?  Love!

ColorsPacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Emerald Envy, Crushed Curry, Whisper White

StampsBalloon Adventures
ToolsBig Shot, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits
Accessories: Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Party Animal Washi Tape, Party Animal Embellishments, Linen Thread

This die is also fun to just make a card front with like I already shared in THIS POST.  Check it out to see!

The thinlit cuts out the whole pop-up and scores it...so it makes it super easy to do!  There are also those fun balloon die cut pieces.  Which add such a fun WOW! to the balloon...

What do you think?  Do you know someone that would love to get this card?!  I know I do!  :-)

Let me know if you have any questions!  Also...just a few more weeks of Sale-A-Bration (FREE items with every $50 in merchandise ordered) so let me know if you need to order anything!  designwithink@gmail.com.

All Things Thanks Tip...

Have a fun tip and a quick card to share today!  Did you noticed the "All Things Thanks" stamp set in the Occasions Catalog?  So fun and cute!  Lots of fun thank you greetings, for lots of different occasions....

Love all the fonts in this set!  And I wanted to sometimes be able to use just the "thanks" part of the stamp, and not the specific occasion on the stamp.  SOOOOOO...here's a little tip.  Cut apart your stamp!  I have this stamp set in clear mount so I just cut the stamp apart and use just part of it if I need or mount on the same block and use together again.

Pretty fun, huh?  Here is an example.  I made some more of THIS CARD the other day, but changed it to a Thank You card.

But then I wanted to use the whole sentiment on another card, so just use the whole stamp again.  (My husband is getting this card!  My birthday was last month, and he went above and beyond to make it a special day for me.) ...

ColorsBermuda Bay, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Cardstock/PapersSo Saffron, Calypso Coral, Watercolor Paper
StampsBalloon Celebration, All Things Thanks
ToolsTriple Banner Punch, Stapler, Aqua Painter
Accessories: Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, Staples

Hope you enjoy this tip and card!  :-)  Try it out!  Just make sure you use sharp scissors and be careful as you cut so you don't accidentally cut something you didn't mean to cut!

This card is also using the same colors from the TGIF Challenge for the week also!  Love this color combo!

I have another tip for you on this card! It's stamped using the "Balloon Celebration" stamp set in the Annual Catalog.  The fun little tip--this balloon bouquet is really fun and easy to do by simply "masking" the balloons that you want to be in the foreground of the card.  To do this--just stamp the balloon onto the sticky part of a sticky note, cut it out, adhere over the one you stamped and want in the foreground, and then stamp the background balloon over the sticky note.  Remove the sticky note and you have your cute background balloon!

Here is a picture that hopefully helps.  :-)  The yellow pieces are the sticky notes...

And here is another pic of those cute balloons...

P.S...the background is done on watercolor paper and using Bermuda Bay ink and an Aqua Painter.  Just smoosh the ink pad lid into the ink pad before opening the ink pad, creating a pool of liquid in the lid of the ink pad.  Open it up, pick up some color with the Aqua Painter, and color onto the Watercolor paper.

Hope you enjoy!  Thank you so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to know if these tips helped also!  :-)  designwithink@gmail.com

TGIF Challenge - 97 Colorful Watercolor...

Wow!  Is it that time again?!  It is CHALLENGE time!!!  I so hope you play along because this week's challenge is a goodie!  Make anything you want...using these colors...

I LOVE color challenges!  So much fun to switch things up and try things you may not try.  So make anything with these colors and head to the challenge blog and post it! Just CLICK HERE to head there!

Want to see what I came up with?!  Well...here you go...

ColorsBermuda Bay, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Cardstock/PapersBermuda Bay, Whisper White, So Saffron, Watercolor Paper, Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper
StampsSo Very Much
ToolsTriple Banner Punch, Big Shot, Hello You Thinlits, Stapler, Aqua Painter
Accessories: Linen Thread, Sprinkles Embellishements

I did a little fun watercoloring for this one.  I just swooshed some color onto watercolor paper using an Aqua Painter and ink pad (just smoosh the ink pad together before opening--then open the ink pad and you have a little "pool" of color on the lid you can easily grab ink from with your brush), and then cut out the word from that.  Gives such a fun technique.  I actually want to make this card again...there are some things I want to change and it was so much fun to do!

A few more pics...

Can I even being to express how much I LOVE the "So Very Much" Sale-A-Bration stamp set (earn this FREE before March 31st with a qualifying order!!!!).  It comes with a huge "Thank You" stamp...but here I just used this "so very much" supplemental stamp that comes with the set.  So much fun!

What do you think?! Doesn't this look fun to try?!  :-)   I hope you try...and then share!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions.  designwithink@gmail.com
