Extra Flower...Turned Card!

I am going to preface this card by saying it is not my fave.  But...I needed a quick thank you card, and happened to have an extra flower around that I had made for another project and didn't use.  (I also did not get great pictures of it...so apologize for that as well!)  This is the card I just quickly put this together...

I will say...I do LOVE the stamp set I used.  It's called "Work Of Art" and it will be in the next catalog that starts JUNE 2nd!!  (Contact me if you need one!  I will get it to you!) I canNOT wait!  This catalog is simply amazing!

Here are a few more views of the card...

I do love making these flowers.  They are so easy yet are such a WOW on any project!  But for a card...this definitely is a hand delivered only card! :-)  I wouldn't try to mail this unless it was in with a package or something.

I hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  (Or need me to get you a catalog!) designwithink@gmail.com

Thanks So Much!

Just want to say "Thanks So Much" for visiting my blog!  So here is a card idea to say "Thanks!"

There is some new stuff on this card that I LOVE!  TWO NEW IN COLORS that are released June 2nd!  Whooo hoooo!  The card base is Lost Lagoon...and it's this beautiful blue.  Then the big banner is Hello Honey...such a fun yellow!  There are three more In Colors that are very rich and luscious that I will show you in a project soon. (Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, and Tangelo Twist)  Then there is some delicious new THICK Baker's Twine!  I used Strawberry Slush on this card.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff!  It comes in this year's In Colors...which are my absolute fave ever!!! (Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Baked Brown Sugar)  I will NEVER say goodbye to these colors.  I'm starting to stock up on everything now, and I still have a year left! :-)

Then there also is a stamp set we have to say good-bye to.  It's called "Oh, Hello" and I LOVE this set!  It has some fun greetings, that big oval chevron, and that fun flower.  Sometimes it is hard to say goodbye...so make sure you get this stamp set before it's gone!  The other stamp set I used, "Gorgeous Grunge" is sticking around.  YAY!  Cause I use this set ALL. THE. TIME!!!  (It is a must have in my opinion!)

Here are a few more close-up pics...

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Happy Anniversary!

Well today I'm sharing with you the card I made for my hubby for our anniversary.  It's a simple layout.  And it isn't necessarily a "masculine" card.  (Hearts, pink, and rhinestones don't necessarily mean masculine, huh?!)  However...it's for our anniversary, pink and bling are my favorites...so for this occasion I think it's just fine to not give him a card made of metal and nails.  (Haha)

Anyway...here is the card...

There is some new product on this card!  First up...I made this card 5" x 5" because I used a 4" x 4" card from the NEW PROJECT LIFE STUFF!  It's so incredibly awesome!  And some of it is available for purchase RIGHT NOW!  You don't even have to wait until the new catalog starts!  Here is a flyer on that...http://su-media.s3.amazonaws.com/media/docs/project_life/pricing_PL_demo_May0114_US.pdf

This card goes to show that even though this Project Life stuff is amazing...you don't just have to use it for scrapbooking!  Makes fun cards too!  (And other stuff!)

And then there is some NEW IN COLOR ribbon on this card as well!  It's so yummy!  Just look at it...

Then here is another view of some details...

This really is a very simple card to make.  Hope you enjoy it!  Thanks for visiting!!!

Hugs and Kisses...In Chocolate Form!

Today I wanted to share the wedding favor that I made for my brother and his new wife's wedding dinner.  I mentioned it in THIS POST and you can see from this project that this is where I got the idea for our club project.  :)  So here is the favor...

These obviously were made in her wedding colors.  I think they turned out fun and showed how well her colors worked together!  I know I had a lot of fun making them!  Here is another view of the flower...

I truly love making these flowers!  They are easy to make, yet provide any project with a WOW!  I just love them.  Then when you open up the favor, there is a little note inside...

You can read it better in real life, but it says "Hugs and Kisses from the Mr. & Mrs." Then open the tissue and of course you get this...

Chocolate!  Yay!

Here is a pic of them on the table (although I apologize for the photo!  I just snapped one real quick and the lighting in the room was very dim.  So this photo kinda stinks.  But you can get an idea)...

And then just the one sitting in it's place...

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoy this project!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

I have shared before some things that I did for my brother's wedding festivities.  Well...her is the card I made for the cute couple!  I am sure many of you have weddings coming up ('tis the season!), so hopefully this will give you an idea you can use.

Here is another view so you can see more of the details...

May Club Card...

Last week was my Club Night, and I already shared the project we made HERE.  Well today I am going to share the card we made.  I have to say...I really love this card this month.  It's the little details that make this card a Wow card...I think any way.   You tell me what you think...

I LOVE the Core'dinations Cardstock!  It's SO MUCH fun and really makes a card pop!  All this card stock is retiring this month...so get it while you can!  Even if you don't sand it down, the texture on it is fantastic.

Here are a few other pics of the card so you can check out the details...

And we even made a coordination envelope with the Envelope Framelits...

So what do you think?  We used the Heart Framelits to cut the heart out of the Core'dinations Cardstock.  Then adhere the Designer Series Paper piece to the card base, and then put the card front on with dimensionals.  This is just a fun way to use the negative space of the punched out/Framelit out piece.

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks for visiting!

May Club Project...

Just wanted to share the project that we made at our club night last night!  (Have I mentioned before how much I love my club gals?!?!)  I made something similar like this for a wedding favor for my brother's wedding dinner.  (Still need to share that, don't I?!) But my club gals seemed to love the flower when they saw it, so I thought I better show them how to make it!  This is what we made...

Had some fun using the This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper.  The colors we used are Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, and Calypso Coral.  Surprisingly...they all work together to create a fresh and fun project!

These flowers are SO much fun to make!  You just punch out your scallops (I used the 2 3/8" scallop, 6 of them), secure them all together with a brad in the middle, and then start spritzing and crumpling up each layer.  Then sit aside and let dry.

If you are a club member of mine...you will get a PDF instruction sheet each month for both projects we made...with pictures!  Club is a fun way to grow your stamping supplies on a budget.  Let me know if you want more info!

Here are a few more pics so you can get a good view of the project...

And a little tip...these clear boxes are the old stamp cases that Wood Mount stamps used to come in.  Well....just so you know....they are on sale on the Clearance Rack!  You get 10 of this size (it's the smallest...about 4 1/4" x 2 3/4") for just $0.79!  That's a deal!!!  Visit my website to order... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net.  They are so much fun to put any kind of treat or small gift in!

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Here is the project...it even has it's own wrapping...

The belly band slides off and this is what is inside...

HOW MUCH FUN IS THAT?!  I love this project!  This month there were quite a few extras included in the box.  So I made some extra projects.  Here are a few cards I used with some of the extras as well as some of my own stash of products...

I kept with the same color combo of the actual project for this one.  It is Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizzazz, and Calypso Coral.  I used an extra tag, heart, and twine from this month's kit for this card.

Here is another card...

The stamps are SO MUCH FUN this month!  Love them!  There is a "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment included, but for this card I just inked up the word "Happy" in it and stamped it on this card. I also used an extra heart, button, and twine for this card.

Here is a close-up...

Then when all the extras are used up, this is a card you can make with the stamps (that you will have FOREVER!)...

Here is a close-up...

More Wedding Fun...

So today I am sharing a few more things I did for the wedding.  I also posted HERE and HERE (you will have to scroll to the bottom of this post to see the "Celebrate" banner) a few other things.  But I have to apologize...I did NOT get good pics.  I just ran out of time at the event to take good ones.  The lighting was also pretty dim.  I did my best.  At least you can get an idea of what these items were.  :)

Here are some pictures of theirs that I framed and decorated.  They were hung around the room we were in...

I need to try to track one of these photos down so I can get a better pic.  I made those fun flowers in Calypso Coral, Night of Navy, and Pistachio Pudding.  Then used the Baked Brown Sugar ribbon and Designer Series Paper for the banner.  They really turned out cute, but you can't really tell that in this picture!

Here are some candles I decorated for her centerpieces.  They were sitting in a cool lantern...

It was a lot of fun to help in a small way make their day feel a little more special.  They are one cute couple and I am excited for their new adventure together!

Thanks for visiting!  I hope you enjoyed these projects!

Happy Wedding Events!!!

This last weekend my baby brother got MARRIED!  Whoooo hooooo!!  What fun!!!  I was lucky enough to be able to make some decor for the wedding dinner we had the night before the wedding/reception day!  It was fun to be able to add some special touches to their festivities!  They are one beautiful couple!!  So first up, I think I need to show you the happy couple...

Aren't they so cute?!  They both were just glowing!  It was precious!  Then here is the banner I made for them...

I know it's hard to really see so here are some more views...

I have posted quite a few banners these days.  I just think they are such a fun way to add some fun festivity to any event.  And it was a great way to bring in her wedding colors.  (Here colors were Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Pistachio Pudding, and Baked Brown Sugar.)  The base of this banner is the Celebrations Basics Kit again.  I LOVE THIS KIT!  It makes it so easy to make a banner and just add any special touch you want!

So hope you enjoy this banner!  I will share a few more decor items that I made for this dinner soon!  Thanks so much for visiting!

No Boring Notebook Here!

Who wants to write in some boring store-bought notebook?!  I know I don't!  :)  So just wanted to share a quick idea for you.  This was just a plain old boring Mini Legal Pad I got at the store.  I just cute-ified (yes...that's officially a word now! At least in my world.  :-) ) a cover for it and attached it to the front.  This is such a fun gift for Mother's Day or any time, or just for yourself!

I LOVE this pink sentiment.  It says, "Today calls for something pink with sprinkles on top!"  It's in a birthday greetings stamp set called "Remembering Your Birthday".  But I think you can use this sentiment for ANY DAY!  LOVE it!

Here are some other views of the front...

Then it just opens like this...

And then you can see how I attached the card stock to the back...

I forgot to get a pic of how I attached the pen...but I just hot glued a ribbon loop to the inside back cover.  (Then I covered this with Coastal Cabana Designer Series Paper so that you couldn't see that part.)  Then just slip my pen in!  I love these RSVP pens because you can open the pen up...slip a small rolled in piece of Designer Series Paper inside...and VOILA!  Coordinating pen for your notebook!  Too much fun!!

Hope you enjoyed this project!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!!!
