Then today is the last day for the FREE MARKERS promotion with Paper Pumpkin!  I just canNOT stress enough about how happy I get when my bright orange box comes each month.  It's SO MUCH FUN!

Sign up by the end of the day for a Paper Pumpkin subscription and new subscribers get a FREE pack of 2012-2014 In Color markers!  You can't beat that!  Just try it...I know you will love it!

The first month of your new subscription you will get the welcome kit.  (It is the kit shown in the picture above.)  It has some of my most used stamps in it!  The cards you make are super fun with the kit, but after the kit is done...you still have the stamps to use!  YAY!!!

So I want to show you a few more samples made with these stamps.  These samples were actually part of our make and takes for the demonstrator event I went to recently.  (Another FABULOUS perk of being a demonstrator...you will be involved with an amazing group of demonstrators!  And you could go to fun events like this with me!  :) )  I posted about this event in THIS post, THIS post, and THIS post.  At these events I tend to chat away though, so I didn't get many of my make and takes completed.  Then when I sat down to make these projects at my house...I couldn't find my pictures that I took to remind me of what we were making.  :) SOOOO...I was going off of memory making these.  I think these projects are pretty close to the originals, that were created by the fabulous Heather Stevens.  I just added a few extra pieces to the kits I had.

Anyway...enough babble...here are the pictures of the projects...

How fun is this card?!  That embossed background is a Sale-A-Bration embossing folder!  Get it FREE today!!!  Then LOVE LOVE LOVE that ruffled In Color ribbon (this one is Coastal Cabana).  LOVE the details that adds.  And silver glimmer paper...can NOT beat that!!  I think this is a fun and fresh card.

Next card...

Love me some butterflies.  And LOVE ME some Melon Mambo.  So this card is a total win for me.  :)

Next up...

I think this color combo is so fun and trendy.  And with those feathers...can't get more trendy than that!  :)

Lastly...this is a little treat holder made with the Envelope Punch Board...

How fun, right?!  Love that little flower.  It's just made with the 7/8" Scallop Punch.  Then I just cut slits in the valleys of the scallops to make the petals pop.

Too much fun!

Hope you enjoy these projects!  Just let me know if you have any questions!  Thank you SO MUCH for visiting!

HIP HIP HOORAY!

Just have to say...I LOVE the card kits Stampin' Up! has.  The newest one is called "Hip Hip Hooray" and is SO MUCH FUN!  Here is a flyer on the kit... http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/hiphiphorray_flyer_Demo_US.pdf

You get the supplies to make 20 darling cards and envelopes.  You also get a stamp set, a clear stamp block, etc.  And the cards are SO CUTE!

Well...a side note...my brother is getting married in May.  His fiancĂ© chose some cute colors for their wedding...and they just happen to be basically the colors in the card kit!  The only color that was missing was Navy.  (Her colors in Stampin' Up! language are Baked Brown Sugar, Calypso Coral, Pistachio Pudding, and Night of Navy.)  Anyway...she had a bridal shower last weekend and so I had to make her these cards as part of her gift!  I have to say...it was a fun project!  I added some Midnight Muse ribbon to the cards to bring in the Navy color.  And instead of using all the other sayings that came with the kit (that are darling!)...I decided to just use the "thanks" so she had 20 thank-you cards all ready to go.

Well I didn't just tell you all that to talk.  Today I am obviously going to share this gift with you!  So here are the cards all bundled up...

Don't they look fun!  Well I won't just tease you with the cards in a bundle.  Here are pictures of all the cards I made...

So fun, right?!  Such a fun and quick gift!  If you would like to order your own kit, just visit my website:  www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net.  Or send me an email:  designwithink@gmail.com.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoy these cards!  If you have any questions then just let me know!

A Little Floral Decor...

What happens when you need a fresh piece of decor for your house?  And you can't seem to find what you need or like in a store.  Why...just use your paper crafting supplies to make your own!  What is more fun than THAT?!  Then it can be just what you need and want!  That's what I did the other day.  And I am going to share.  :)  I have this shelf thing in the corner by my front door.  I needed something for one of the shelves.  They aren't big shelves so I like to keep it simple and clean.  Here is what I decided on...

I made a large flower and glued it on a frame that I had framed a piece of Designer Series Paper.  The flower was easy to do.  It is a bunch of circles that I punched, cut a slit half way up, glued into a cone shape, and then glued them all together.  I made a center for the flower with the NEW FABULOUS Fringe Scissors!  They are SO much fun to use!

Here is a close-up...

The colors are Pool Party, Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive.  So fun and fresh!  It's a 5"x7" frame...so you can kinda tell the size.  It's quite a large flower.  Makes quite a pop by the front door.  And I love it!

Here is a pic of it on it's shelf...

Thanks so much for visiting!  I hope you enjoy this project!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Just a reminder...if you sign up by March 31st...you get a FREE pack of In Color markers!  You can see more about this in THIS POST.

In this post today I just want to share with you all the fun I had with this month's kit!  It came with supplies to make 8 cards.  And the cards have these fabulous wooden words.  They have 4-"congrats" and 4-"thank you" phrases.  Here is a sample of the cards as they were designed...

Now...here is a little tip.  This kit comes with 8 cards and all the supplies, 8 envelopes, and 8 gold foil liners.  The tip is this...cut down the envelope liners a little on the bottom.  No one that gets the card will look to the bottom of the envelope to see if the gold goes all the way down.  :) And now you have some fun gold foil to put on your cards!  Here is the card above with just a few additions...

And then I went to town playing with the rest of the supplies.  Here are more cards I made with this kit and just a few other additions from my stamping stash...

As you can see...so many possibilities with this kit!  I stamped, glittered, colored and embossed the wooden words.  And just had so much fun with the stamps and card supplies!  Then...since I had so much fun...my card supplies were all gone!  Sad!  But never fear!  There are stamps (and ink!) in the kits that you can use over and over again.  So here is a card I made with the stamps...

Just some close-ups of the details...

***Note:  The stamps in the kit are the chevron type stamp going across the Whisper White cardstock in the different colors and then the banner type stamp in the background stamped in gray.***

SEE HOW MUCH FUN PAPER PUMPKIN IS!!!!  And guess what is even better!?  When you subscribe to My Paper Pumpkin and choose me as your demonstrator...you will have access to a private blog with lots of additional ideas for each months kits!  How much FUN is that?!?!

More Envelope Punch Board Box Fun...

Back in THIS POST I posted one of our club projects for the month.  It was a fun box made with the Envelope Punch Board.  Well I made a few other ones.  This is a little smaller than the one we made for club.  I love it's small size.  Too cute!  Here is one of them...

Fun...right?!  And those Banners!  LOVE LOVE them!  You have until March 31st to earn the Banner stamp set and coordinating punch for FREE!  Email me at designwithink@gmail.com for details!

Here is another view...

I forgot to get a pic of the belly band off the box but you just slide the belly band off and then the box opens this way...

Here is another box I made in the same size as the one above.

Love this fun flower.  And love that Designer Series Paper around the box.  It can be earned FREE as well, before March 31st!  Here is another view...

Floral Fun Decor...

I have been meaning to share this for awhile.  I needed something for a wall in my stamp room, and I wanted to make it myself.  I don't always find things in stores that I love so why not take matters into my own hands?!  :)  I love using my stamping supplies for decor!  I got this rather large shadow box frame at a store and went to town to make something that would be an inspiration when I looked at it.  Here is what I came up with...

Some of the walls in my stamp room are Melon Mambo (I LOVE HOT PINK!!!!) and some are Pink Pirouette.  Then I have black accents and I am currently looking for some turquoise chairs and such.  (I need to take some pics of my stamp room to show you how I organize and such.  If I can ever get it cleaned, I will do that.  :) )  Anyway...so I went with that color combo.  I knew I was hanging it on one of the Melon Mambo walls so I just used that color as the accent.  I framed a piece of Pink Pirouette paper (I used a whole 12x12 sheet in the framed portion if that helps you see how big this is.)

Here is another view...

I was going to do a bunch of flowers in the frame but I decided I just wanted to keep it simple.  I used the Floral Frames Framelits to make the flower.  Here is a close-up...

The flower is the largest Floral Framelit.  It's pretty big in real life.  I used a bone folder to curl the edges and make it really pop and such.

I love the word "create" for my stamp room so I went with that in this frame.  Here is a close-up...

I made this awhile ago with that big wide Gray ribbon was in the mini catalog.  I did recently see it on the Clearance Rack.  So check out my site if you need some of that. :-) It's FANTASTIC stuff to work with!  www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Go create something today!  I encourage you to try something new with your stamping stuff!

Shake, Shake, Shake...

I posted a shaker card in THIS POST.  Well, it had been awhile since I had made a shaker card and I loved that one so much...so had to make another.  Just wanted to share it with you today.  Here is the card...

Loving this color combo! It's Strawberry Slush, Basic Gray, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. So fun!  Lots of fun things you could do with this combo!  I used two main stamp sets:  Feel Goods and Petal Parade (Sale-A-Bration set that you can get FREE until March 31st!) and one background stamp, Chevron.  I love how well these sets go together.

This shaker card was so easily put together.  Just cut a piece of cardstock and Window Sheet the same size.  Then secure 3 sides with Washi Tape.  Cut some confetti with the Fringe Scissors (just cut up into a sheet of cardstock but don't cut all the way through the cardstock.  Then cut the other way, making the small square confetti.  Add some confetti and seal up the 4th side.  So easy and fun!!!  Here is another pic...

Have to say... loving that button.  (I LOVE buttons!) This is a Melon Mambo button from the Brights Collection but works great with the Strawberry Slush accents!  And LOVE LOVE that ruffled stretch ribbon!  So much fun to work with!  And you certainly can't go wrong with the Chevron background stamp!!!

This card was a lot of fun to make!  Try one yourself and see how much fun shaker cards are!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoyed this project! Let me know if you have any questions!

Clubbers Gift...

I posted this months club projects HERE and HERE.  I also had a special gift for my club members this month.  I wanted to thank them for being a part of my club.  And since they add so much "bling" to my life...I wanted to give them some bling!  Here is what I gave them...

Fun, right?!  I just wanted to share this because I want you to see how easy it is to spruce up a gift.  It's a simple gift that ANY crafter would LOVE!  A package of Self-Adhesive Rhinestones (these are the large ones)...why YES please!  But a package of Self-Adhesive Rhinestones that is decorated cute...YES PLEASE MORE!  :)  Here is a close-up of the decor part...

I used some Sale-A-Bration products on these.  (GET FREE PRODUCTS with a $50 merchandise order until March 31st!  Email me at designwithink@gmail.com!)  The "Sweet Sorbet" paper that I added to the top  and the tag is one of the items I used.  Then the stamp set, Petal Parade, is also one.  The greeting is from a stamp set available to demonstrators only.  We were given it at Leadership this year.  I LOVE this saying and completely feel this way about the stampers I have met by being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  The tag is from the Chalk Talk framelits.  I also used the "Sweet Sorbet" Designer Series Paper to die-cut a hexagon piece from the "Hexagon Hive" thinlit.  (This is an amazing die, by the way!)  Then just added some of the flowers that were stamped and embossed with Whisper White embossing powder and the greeting.  A button and Baker's Twine finishes it off.  So easy and fun and hopefully my clubbers know how much I appreciate them and love our monthly meetings!  (We would love to have you join our club!  Just email me...designwithink@gmail.com for more details!)

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!
